This restaurant was an amazing experience from start to finish! We ordered a meal from each section of the menu starting with tacos urubamba, anticucho and the shrimp lollipops. Each dish had such unique flavours that paired so well together. The picanha was cooked perfectly and the textures were just incredible.
We got the tiradito capesante which had a strong tang to it which I usually don’t enjoy but overall a great dish.
We also got the Ricoto Maki and the Soba De Tigre. The maki was like a very fancy spicy salmon roll and delicious! The soba de Tigre with the black truffle was very creamy and rich in flavour.
For dessert we got the Kataifi Urubamba and I think this is the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. Between the crunchy texture of the cannoli kataifi, the creamy coffee filling and the chocolate sauce with ice cream, it was just incredible to the palate.
Because this is a Michelin Star restaurant I understood that it would be pricey and dishes would be small. I knew I was paying for exceptional service and an adventure with the dishes I ordered and that’s exactly what I got. I don’t think I could get a similar meal anywhere else and I am so happy I came here. This is very affordable compared to other Michelin Star restaurants but do agree that compared to Naples restaurants as a whole, it can be pricey. If you want a delicious one-of-a-kind meal, warm ambience and exceptional staff/service, Urubamba is a...

The Urubamba mix of rolls (26, 24 or 32) is a great way of getting surprised while eating exotic makis: The avocado salmon roll with the foie gras on top was amazing since the foie gras was too subtle to overwhelm the nice salmon taste. Unfortunately the rest of the makis were so balanced that they eventually did not stand out. We could neither truly enjoy the amazing quality of the fish nor the surprising elements that fusionned with it, as they both blended so well together at an equal level. Don't get me wrong, it was still great, but no amazing flavour came out of it as it would for a full-on traditional maki with good quality fish or with a full-on exotic maki with 100% peruvian ingredients. The maki with truffles could have stood out but this particular truffle was a bit weak in taste.
When it comes to the starters, the lollipop shrimps were surprising, the black Angus buns nice as well and could have been perfect if the buns were a little less dry.
For the drinks, pisco sour is a go-to!
Thank you for this...
Read moreUrubamba offers an interesting Japanese–Peruvian fusion concept, and the dishes we tried were overall good. However, the service at the entrance could be improved. Upon arrival, the hostess took quite some time to assign us a table and remarked, “What table could we give them?” Although the restaurant was empty, we were not offered a view table.
We spent €180 for our meal and noted a 10% service charge, which is higher than the standard in most other Naples restaurants, including nearby Michelin-starred venues. While the food was enjoyable, the first impression at the entrance set a tone that did not match the price point or...
