This restaurant is one of my new favorite places to eat as it had some of the freshest foods I’ve ever eaten before. We first started with the antipasto which was beautifully made to the point where I almost didn’t want to eat it because it was too aesthetic to ruin. Regardless we ate it and it was, to say the least, mouth watering. The cheeses and deli meats were light and delicious though filling as well. As for the main course I ordered pasta and potatoes with provolone which was beyond good, one of the best I’ve ever eaten here in Italy actually. On another note, the staff and owner of the restaurant are very kind as when the owner sat next to us he offered to share one of their new dishes with me just because it suddenly caught my eye. Turned out to be that it was the most exquisite thing ever…literally! So from my experience of being a local as well as an American, this restaurant definitely deserves a visit as they offer amazing food and...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our dining experience at la Fiaschetteria. We stumbled upon it by accident as we were looking for a different place in the area that served a "tagliere" (charcuterie board). The board was fun and the meats and cheeses fresh and delicious. On top of that, the board came with a few tasters like eggplant parm and potato croquettes. Do yourselves a favor and order a board. We also had the house bruschettas which were good but didn't blow us out of the water, what did that was our main course, an olive and capers spigola fish. Absolutely extraordinary and super fresh. As a born neapolitan who lives abroad and who's traveled everywhere I truly appreciated the authenticity of the food and the flair in preparation and presentation. Will be back again for sure. The staff was also...
Read moreWe arrived around 8:50PM and already they didn’t have some things on the menu. We ordered appetizers which took more than 40 minutes and were incomplete. The only good thing was their fior di zucca which were really good (they only brought 3 instead of 4). Their “fritto misto di terra” is nothing more than 3 pieces of fried eggplant with 6 balls of fried dough, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Around us people got to order first and second dishes and they looked good, but again, TOOK FOREVER. We decided to leave after the appetizers because service was REALLY slow. If you have time for a LONG LONG lunch or dinner then I’m sure you can find good things to eat but if you don’t like waiting around and having no one even offer you refill your drinks I would recommend you going...
