I went to this restaurant after a guided tour at Napoli Sotterranea. First impression was amazing scenery and quite beautiful. However, once the service started it was all down hill. Took about 20-25 minutes to get water and a wine, there was other people who came in after me and they got their orders and drinks before I was even checked on. Once I got my wine, it was about 45 minutes until I got checked on. I was asked, “Are you ready to order?” I politely said I was going to pay for my table and went for my check near the front. I don’t know if they are classist, ignorant or hate tourist but all I got was wine and water. The wine even had residue and sediment, so not the best pour. They definitely catered to the Italian locals. If you’re a tourist, B E W A R E. They may speak English if you’re dressed classy, but I had just came back from a tour, and I was rather OK in appearance, however, I got broken English/Italian (I attempted to speak some Italian). Anyway, maybe it’s because I tried speaking Italian? I don’t know, but 0 stars for me if I could. Racist, classist, hate tourist who aren’t in nice clothes but overall 0, who knows with that scenario. I wish it was recorded and posted for you folk. It paints the picture VIVIDLY. I can’t believe I even tipped €1 at the end lol. I’m very nice, so this review hits. Take it seriously, BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

the place was very full, so we thought this must be a very good place. also the place had an interactive menu in english near the door. when we came in, it turned out that they only have 1 english menu, and it was in use. We ordered beaf steaks 300gr. The steaks came relatively quickly, but were completely tasteless. it seems that this restaurant specializes in other dishes. meat is definitely not their strong side. furthermore, the sidedish that came with the steak was potatos, which came cold and in a very small quantity. with the potato they served some kind of potato chips, which feel like they were taken from a snack packet. We won't be eating here again.

Of all the places we ate at in Naples this was by far the best due to the friendly attentive service, beautiful interior and exceptional quality food for the price. We always try to speak the local language, although admittedly not great, but we didn’t feel uncomfortable here as scanning the QR code for an English menu was made easy. The staff were very welcoming and communicated to us on a personal level too which put us at ease. Wine choice was great, food was delicious and the whole atmosphere was very approachable and relaxed. Definitely recommend the mozzarella and burrata starters! Pizza and seared tuna

This is a nice restaurant with good food in a lovely part of the city. My husband and I were sightseeing locally and dropped in without a reservation. First impressions were good and the decor is very pleasant. We were only interested in having a main course as we had had a generous lunch earlier. The service vibe, though initially 'friendly', was definitely a bit off....not sure why. Other tables with apparent locals were well taken care of...also those with younger women!! (Waiters we encountered were mainly older and 'old school', male waiters). Noone came near us throughout our meal. Maybe it was obvious we were just passing through....though we dined out in various restaurants in Naples for over 14 nights? Our waiter appeared indifferent to us. Plates were removed from the table when we sat down so no plates for our bread....and an almost audible 'tut tut' when we didn't order wine. Such a pity as the food we ordered was good...full of flavour and tasty. We left with a 'not so nice' feeling of not really...

The food we had was fine, and the food we saw going by looked even better. I knocked off two stars because of the service. We ordered drinks and the wine and water came for my wife and daughter but I never got the beer on tap I had ordered. I said something much later, asnd he realized he forgot it. He got me one which he hastily poured and it was 25% foam. He never checked to see if I wanted another, which I did, or anything else. Bread and and oil but no plates, what's that about? When he gave me the change in all small coins, he stood there at the table. That's was the most we saw of him the whole meal. If he wanted a nice tip he should have taken care of us. It's not so much to ask. I hope it's not a down on tourist thing, since that doesn't really make sense in a service industry. My advices to him is: if u want a nice tip from a tourist, take care of them and u will get it....
