This trattoria, run by the family, is an absolutely recommended place from my point of view! It is my the list of best places in Sicily because of its authenticity which they express by: serving fresh fish from the area and preparing it with passion and much taste. This is possible I think, thanks to the history of fishermen of the family: they feel the work of fishing and know what is delicious in this culture. Our dinner was refined, refreshing, authentic, delizioza ! I loved that we could talk to the family and maybe even experience a little of their craftmanship. The trattoria is located a little 5 minutes out of historic Noto, on a cozy square, characteristic to sit outside and inside, where you can see the chefs at work and experience also the artsy creative atmosphere of the family. We are true food lovers who have dined in great restaurants all around the world, and we especially love fresh fish and seafood. This was our fourth time in Noto and at Jonica Pesce Pugliese, and once again we were not disappointed. Without a doubt, this is the place with the freshest fish and seafood in all of Noto.

The ambience is warm and inviting. The family who owns the restaurant is wonderfully warm and hospitable, making us feel completely at home. The fish and shellfish dishes are of the highest quality — fresh, beautifully presented, and prepared with extraordinary skill and care. Simple and authentic family business with exceptional cuisine! We (2) had beers and water, a starter that got our heart beating faster, both had pasta, a main course and dolci with espresso. Every dish was a 10/10. Service is much better than rated here, very friendly, cheerful and was helpful with us not speaking Italian.
