My Girlfriend and I love the food at this restaurant, we came 3 times for lunch. I has the pasta carbonara twice, and each time it was excellent, perfectly cooked pasta coated with a rich sauce with paper thin slices of truffle on top, I loved it, best I ever had, if you come here to eat, you must!, must!, must try! My girlfriend also had the pasta ragu meat sauce twice, and both loved this dish as well, everything is balanced, you taste the tomato, the meat and parmesan nothing overpowered. The steak we ordered twice was also savory, excellent herb seasoning combination. I also had the cuttlefish salad twice, I could eat this every day. Our Waitress was so friendly and helpful to us, she helped us many times with the menu and made suggestions and also helped us pick out wine, which was amazing. We had a raspberry cream dessert one time and Affogato another time after our meal, both excellent. The wait may be a little long some may say, but one should understand that great food takes time and care, and we tasted it in every plate we had here. Patience pays off. The first time, we were greeted by a very friendly young waiter, but later another woman took over and the service turned terrible. She looked like she didn’t want to be there, barely made eye contact, and whenever we asked for something, she answered very rudely, as if we were bothering her. I honestly don’t understand how such a nice place keeps someone like that, because we could see her treating other tables the same way.
We went back the next day just to see if it was different, but this time it was another young waiter, equally unfriendly and short-tempered. That was enough for us to decide to go somewhere else, where we were treated much better.

The staff were adorable, warm and efficient and full of good advice. The atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming that there is no way you cannot want to come back (we went on a spree of restaurants and thought this place really had something more). I am taken aback by some of the comments complaining about the slow service: we thought it was very well-timed and did justice to an extraordinarily competent, creative and inventive chef who honours local products and dazzled us with his generous cuisine.
