We stopped in for a casual meal, hoping for a solid pizza night, but left underwhelmed. The food was just okay — nothing bad, but nothing special either. We had pizza and pasta, and while everything was edible, it lacked the flavor and freshness you’d expect from a place trying to stand out. Definitely not the kind of meal you’d go out of your way for.
What really brought the experience down was the service. Staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It was difficult to flag anyone down, and even basic things like getting a refill or a follow-up on our order took repeated attempts. When service is that disconnected, it’s hard to enjoy the meal, even if the food had been better.
This might work if you’re in the area and everything else is full, but it’s not a place I’d recommend seeking out. With a bit more care — both in the kitchen and on the floor — it could be much better. As it is, there are far better...
Read moreThe worst restaurant experience. We were looking for something to eat, nice and tasty. We were starving,so nothing more, nothing fancy. The menu were only pizza and salads. The pasta on the menu from a few years ago were gone. We gave a try for seafood pizza and seafood salad. Apparently the seafood were from the same oily can, no tasty, chewy and full of “the infamous seafood sticks”. The food experience was awful, salad served without dressing and pizza were swimming in the oil. Seriously we are in Sardinia, with full of nice products from sea and lands…we can’t believe what we were seeing. Anyway, we ended up asking the bill, and restaurant manager finished our experience by being outrageous to us without saying anything or even an apology or a good bye as any professional ( he was not!)
To finish , this place is tourist trap nothing more.
P.S : the waitresses did their job...
Read moreIf you want to eat a good pizza, then don't go to Costa Sarda! As with all other restaurants in the area, you need to order the pizzas and wait quiet a bit before collecting them, which we don't mind if the pizzas are worth the wait. But they are not! The dough was really chewy and the sauce was without salt and without flavour. But most of all, the pizzas were undercooked! Normally, the crust is supposed to be brown and crusty, but the only crusty and crunchy thing were the RAW vegetables in my vegetarian pizza. Even the cheese wasn't melted as it is supposed to be. Surely we won't be buying pizza there anymore! Edit: I changed my rating as this place has become our favourite for breakfast and coffee! Their espressos are the best in the area and their "paste" are really nice! Thumbs-up for the two waiters that are really friendly and very efficient even at the...
