The Wine Club — Restaurant in Olbia

I visited The Wine Club on a winter night, and it already felt like paradise. The owner, who is both a sommelier and a wine producer, personally introduced me to their superb wine list. I had the chance to taste two Vermentino di Gallura wines, which were both excellent and gave me a new appreciation for this local variety. For food, I tried a Pinsa, a typical dish that was in this case vegetarian and topped with radicchio, pecorino erborinato, and walnuts. I also had the Tuna Carpaccio, which was outstanding—fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced. Everithing was simple yet incredibly flavorful. A particularly thoughtful touch is their vegan tagliere, which I found to be a great addition to their menu and very inclusive for vegan diners. What a Nice place! The wine was very good and affordable. We asked a few questions about Olbia and the surroundings itself and the staff was very helpfull. We sat around closing time and we asked if they knew the closest taxi, they told us that is was almost impossible and expencieve so Mattheo (the waiter that helped the business this evening) offered us a drive to the hotel.
