An adorable wine bar & shop in Orvieto. My fiancée and I just happened across it on our way through the town, and it stood out to us how cute and well put-together it was.

The two of us decided to buy the wine tasting, which featured 4 different wines. Knowing we were together, our server chose for us 4 whites and 4 reds, so my fiancée and I could try a total of 8. A very thoughtful gesture. There wasn’t a bad wine in the bunch! We even ended up buying three we sampled, all from the local area.

The wine bar also had various foods, including meats and cheeses — though we didn’t have the pleasure of sampling any. We only had some small bites (olives and breads) that the server brought us, gratis.

Came here for some lunch as I really just wanted a panini and was completely delighted by the kind, friendly service not to mention the delicious panini (I think it was called a torta al testo). As this is truffle town I had porchetta with the truffle sauce. Fantastic!! It’s informal and you can have wine or a spritz or a board of salumi with all the specialties of the area. This would also be a great place for a pre dinner snack or drink....

If you are in Orvieto you MUST stop here! The place is clean and inviting. The staff is fantastic and friendly. The food and wine are outstanding! I wish we had more time to spend time and money there. They offered to ship wine etc home for us and it arrived packed perfectly. I have since been in touch with the owner and she is just as lovely and friendly as her café is. So it's no surprise to me why it was our favorite stop in Orvieto....
