I’m giving this restaurant a “meh”. I had pesto gnocchi with pine nuts, it lacked flavor, I didn’t see any nuts in mine so missing that toasted crunch of nuts my partner ordered all’Arrabbiata, usually a pasta with spicy red sauce, it was basically just tomato sauce, not what she expected, plus after the server dropped off our meals we never saw him again, no olive oil, balsamic, pepper or parmigiana for our meals and bread, also an observation, half the people dining there were English speakers, however the 3 servers we met could not speak a drop of English so ordering was a challenge, I know, we’re in Italy, but if that many of the clientele are speaking English, why not serve your customers better by helping them order. Was referred to this restaurant by a local.I am a middle aged woman very nice and friendly and they were SO RUDE to me! If you are an American you may want to reconsider! Especially a woman traveling on business or solo! I was amazed how they ignored me for 20 minutes- no menu,no wine list. No water. Actually a woman at the table next to me gave me her menu. I checked the review before I went here and the rate was quite high so I decided to try this restaurant during my journey to Orvieto. First, the staff was very far from friendly especially a bald guy Maybe because I’m from an Asian country. I ordered a steak and a salad. When I ordered the steak the waiter didn’t ask how I liked it to be prepared and he brought a well-done steak which was like a rubber.
