Watched the Euro 2020 football game Italy - Austria there. One of the few places where we were accepted without a reservation. A well-priced and versatile menu for a cafeteria. In attesa del tavolo prenotato nella vecchia otranto decidiamo di concederci un aperitivo vista mare. Dopo una passeggiata senza troppe pretese, seppur allettati dagli innumerevoli ritoranti/bar lungomare, il nome Borderline accende naturalmente una scintilla di curiosità del tutto narcisistica ed estetica. Come descrivere un angolo cittadino dal quale è possibile godere della vista della Vecchia Otranto? Ovviamente Borderline!!! I tavoli all aperto non sono molti e già occupati, ci sediamo sugli scaloni che gentilmente degradano verso il mare. La vista è mozzafiato come la gentilezza dello staff nell assecondarci. Un campari spritz ed un hugo spritz sbagliato. Ecco qui le 5 stelle, non solo per la location ma per la professionalità. Per fare uno hugo serve il liquore di sambuco, e se non c'è? Nessun dramma, la cameriera propone un liquore simile. Il risultato ? Un campari spritz ed un drink che non è un Hugo ma che diventa tale grazie alla cortesia e alla professionalità dello staff....
