A couple of friends took me and my girlfriend there for aperitivo saying it is really a nice place.
The place it is really nice decorated and the waiters are nicely dressed and everything seems to be promising very well, unless we were deeply disappointed.
When they came to take the wine order, I’ve asked what are the difference between 3 bottles made with the same grapes by 3 different producers, the answer was: “It’s a little difference in the wine producer” which denotes a clearly that the person didn’t have the smallest clue about what they were selling.
Finally when the bottle arrives I’ve noticed I’ve pressed by mistake another wine I’ve said it excusing myself and asking to change the wine, the waiter did it giving us a really annoyed look - second note of unprofessionalism.
The ice bucket was brought to us only when the bottle was almost finished 40 minutes later and the bottle of mineral water I’ve ordered with the wine never arrived.
The cherry on the top was when we arrived at the cash desk to pay the responsible person asked - hereunder the unrealistic dialogue: R:“All good?” I: “Are you asking cause you want to know or out of courtesy?” R:”I’m asking all the clients” I:”So you are asking out of courtesy” R:”No no, I want to know”
When I’ve expressed all the issues we encountered he did something what any responsible person should ever be doing, he started to explain us why it happened - really disappointing for us.
Unfortunately overall it was a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place which for all the things that have happened seems to be more money oriented than...

The walls are lined with high quality deli products that you can buy, the tables are really comfortable, the toilets very clean and there is an open kitchen at the end where you can see the chefs working. The staff were very welcoming. They gave us a table promptly without having a booking, their menu was in English and they spoke in English to us. We ordered steak and they cooked it perfectly. We also had mixed grilled vegetables and a salad side dish, both of which were very generous portions. The size of the steak was huge for the €24 price. It was larger than the size I can buy in the supermarket in the UK for the same price and the quality of the fillet was very good. We had a glass of valpolicella which was exceptional and only €6 for a glass. We also were given a generous basket of bread as part of the cover charge. There was no service charge added. The next day we returned and had the octopus and potato dish and a crab pasta, both of which were really good. We had a dessert of pears soaked in red wine with chocolate pannecotta and salted caramel. It was one of the best desserts I have ever had. We also had their artisan coffee, one from Brasil and one from Guatemala. The cost for our lunch including gin and wine for two people was €47. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Padova and want a high quality, informal...
