MakaMaka Poke — Restaurant in Padua

To fight off Padua’s hot temperatures a fresh lunch is essential, especially if studying for the uni’s exams; This was the case for my Italian friend and me, as we were looking for a poke place near the Japelli study hall. MakaMaka poke was our salvation! The interior is really nice and clean, and luckily the usual poke shops’s fishy smell was absent. I ordered a large portion, and was nicely surprised by its largeness and quality. The staff was nice and friendly, making our stay even more comfortable! We’ll definitely come back.

A breath of fresh air for the food scene near the University. Simple, modern and tasteful decoration that rises above the standard in the area. At first, it might seem slightly overpriced, but the variety and quality of ingredients justify it. The smallest portion is enough for most people in fact. Simple and clear ordering system. Good quality food. They seem to have forgotten of a organic/humid trash can though... Ah, perhaps it's in the same place than a clear sign that makes the place visible from afar: the oblivion. Ordinato pokè media con 2 proteine, quando arriva ne ha solo 1, quindi come una pokè piccola, richiedo il rimborso e mi vedo riconosciuti solo 80cent, meno del costo dell'aggiunta della proteina mancante e meno della differenza tra pokè piccola e media.
