Passive aggressive droid-like gen z employees, insisting on seating clients right next to each other in a totally empty restaurant.
Answer to the "store manager":
"We always do everything we can to accommodate everyone, so they can enjoy a delicious plate of pasta. I'm more than certain that you weren't asked to move or that any potential issues were brought to our attention: this action would have demonstrated exactly the opposite of what you describe, as we would have done everything to fulfill your request."
No, this is not true at all, as you didn't do literally nothing to satisfy us, or not even to keep us there. First we sat down to a table for 4 instead of small and uncomfortable single person tables for 2, that maybe you like, but we didn't. So at that point one of your colleagues present there didn't have problems with us sitting there. Then soon another colleague guided a loud group of 4 people right next to us in a totally empty restaurant - which is incredibly unprofessional and a real insult already. (The table wasn't reserved.) Then your colleague told us to sit to another table as we were just 2 of us and we sat at a table for 4 - that was also small for 4 persons, but normally rather suited for 2 - in your totally empty restaurant. Both rooms were totally empty, we were the only guests. Then she left and next came another colleague, and told us again to sit to another table. When we told him that what you call a table for 4, by size it is rather a normal table for 2 and we will leave in about 15 minutes anyway, your colleague simply didn't care and still insisted on making us sit elsewhere, and then he rather let us leave without saying bye or sorry, or smtng. That's exactly what happened - again, in your totally empty restaurant, with 4 +2 guests in total, so if you are that sensitive to criticism, you may use your brains first and bahave yourself. I know your business interest is to have as many guests as possible in the same time, sitting there like canned fish, but if the restaurant is totally empty, you may think again and at least in those cases you might behave like you...
Read moreI ordered spaghetti sicilaini which are supposed to come with shrimps, but instead there were very few on there. It lacked taste in my opinion. My company ordered spaghetti carbonara which already came with parmesan cheese. But normally the parmesan should be served separately not already on the food. The service is very impersonal, the waiter comes and tells you to order via the app, then disappears and if you sit outside it's difficult to get his attention as he is mostly inside. There was no waiter checking on us or walking around being available. As soon as food was served we were completely on our own. Salt and pepper not on the table, waiter was not accesible so we had to get up and get it.. In order to pay you have to walk up to reception desk, no service at the table. Shirts say "cut carbon not carbs" quite a political statement that I don't think has a place in hospitality. It seems they want to be overly trendy. In my opinion this type of a chain doesn't fit to padua (or at least not the city center atmosphere) and doesn't represent tradition and Italian cuisine and service. Though the food was not bad, I think there are better restaurants in the city to spend your money at that have the attention to detail...
Read moreOrder can be placed only via page which has not good usability, when clicking back button it sends you to the blank page you came from on Android devices. We managed to order some apitazers and pasta . It was not so comfortable to sit on the metal chairs as there were no cover on them. We didn't mention that when we sit and ordered. About the dish, I selected one from the recommended with shrimp tartar, and I think it was not so good, to lemon, white sauce was like from 1€ parmalat box, and in general not what I expected to have. We paid and order the extra bread and ordered a side bread for onrle odlf the pasta, but we didn't get both of them. The other pasta we ordered was OK. But in general we stayed with bad mood after visiting this place. So you need to be prepared that something could be forgotten to serve, and some of the dishes could be not tasty at all by the double price in comparison with the other places in this town. You will also get a melal chair without any pillow on in when sit on the terrace. There only one thing what was really good, and it is a view, but this is not something made by you guys. And you can leave that bread as a...
