Non amo scrivere cattive recensioni, ma tali devono essere quando non capto margini di correzione durante la mia permanenza. Partiamo col dire che il locale è un locale storico, molto bellino e arredato tutto sommato con gusto. Hanno molti coperti, non è piccolo. Hanno un cortile esterno e comunque altrettanti coperti all'interno. Chiamare per prenotare è stata una odissea non da poco. Avremo chiamato una cosa come più di 15 volte prima di ricevere risposta, il che rende il tutto abbastanza difficoltoso se "bisogna" prenotare. Tra l'altro ci fanno sapere di fare 2 turni, uno alle 20 e l'altro alle 21.30, con la cortesia di riuscire a terminare entro l'orario se si viene appunto al primo turno. Detto questo arriviamo, ci sediamo sul cortile esterno e ci vengono dati 3 menù cartacei.. gli altri potevano guardarlo via digitale. Attendiamo ben più di 20 minuti per prenotare.. abbiamo dovuto far cenno noi a qualcuno perchè ci considerasse. Il cameriere che è venuto poi, prendendo le ordinazioni non so cos'ha fatto perchè di 3 acque, ne ha portate 4 e si sono dimenticati la coca cola di un commensale. La mia birra invece è stata portata da un'altra cameriera che si è limitata ad appoggiarla sul tavolo dove trovava spazio invece che chiedere per chi fosse. Arrivano le pizze, e un commensale rimane senza perchè han sbagliato l'ordinazione anche delle pizze! Rimediano facendogli quella che aveva richiesto, in fretta e furia (si vedeva), tant'è che l'impasto ai bordi risultava in parte crudo.. il tutto senza una minima scusa per l'inconveniente. Le pizze buone, ma nulla di speciale. Finiamo di cenare, e come minimo saremo rimasti più di 1 ora coi piatti vuoti sul tavolo. Erano ormai le 21.30 e nessuno ci ha quantomeno chiesto di alzarci per le prenotazioni del secondo turno, ma abbiamo dovuto nuovamente chiamare qualcuno perchè ci considerasse. Abbiamo ordinato allora alcuni dolci. I dolci sono arrivati, ma i piatti in tavola non erano ancora stati portati via. Di vedeva chiaramente che i camerieri non erano indirizzati, senza esperienza ed il servizio è stato alquanto imbarazzante, penso anche per altri avventori perchè si notavano sbagli e lungaggini un po' tra tutti i tavoli. Ad un certo punto poi, non si sa bene da dove o come, si è sentito un olezzo di "minestrone" parecchio intenso, durato meno di un minuto.. mah!? Vorrei ben sperare di essere capitato in una serata sbagliata, diamo del margine di ripresa essendo un locale storico di padova, ma cosi non ci siamo proprio. Serate del genere fanno in modo che la gente poi non ritorni più, e come si vede, che lasci anche recensioni non buone. Conto...

Where to start? We were visiting this restaurant with a daughter of 4. We came around 7PM, the time the restaurant opens. And there was no one there? The only available person was pizza chef who did his best to welcome us. After actual staff appeared they gave us roll eyes and look: Oh no, these are with the child... The same staff does not speak English. But they are 'capable' of taking one in English. So, after they made a mistake in the order the waiter came back to argue in half Italian half English that we cannot say 'instead' when making an order??? So much of a service.

To be honest at the end: food was good. Kudos to the kitchen and pizza chef who was the only person to make us feel welcome there. Such a pity they have that...
