OK food, little choice, awful service. The place used to be a fantastic restaurant with daily specials and a great choice. Now, we didn't even get the time to take a look at the menu, the waitress clearly pushed us to pick something 2 minutes after our arrival, because she 'had already opened the order on her mobile device and couldn't close it or add to it later'. A straight lie, she actually had to leave and came back and added items to our order without any problems. I thought maybe she had a bad day, but the others were not better. Well, I usually have wine with my pizza instead of beer, which should not be a problem in Sicily. However, when I asked for a glass of wine (not a bottle), they offered Planeta Segreta, which is the worst wine in Sicily. I asked them to check if they could open another brand, the waiter came back with the Planeta, saying "This or nothing". I picked nothing. I’ve been traveling Sicily for the past 10 days and it’s been amazing discovering the towns and cities, as well as meeting the locals and their hospitality. Ending my trip in Palermo and doing solo travel for this part, searched up the best pizza places around Palermo and this place featured on the list. I walked to the entrance and there was a couple behind me that also just arrived, one of the ladies from restaurant walked straight past me without even any acknowledgement, ignored me and served the couple behind me to their seats, walked back in and still ignored me , basically leaving me standing there waiting at the door, until I had to actually speak up to be say what is going on guys?? Timer di un ora e 15 minuti, poi vi fanno alzare per dare il vostro tavolo a qualcun altro.

Tempo per sedersi e ordinare: 10 minuti. La pizza è arrivata dopo 40 minuti dall’ordine, in seguito all’antipasto. Passati: 50 minuti. Restano 25 minuti per mangiare la pizza (i nutrizionisti consigliano che un pasto duri almeno mezz’ora). Si riesce a finire una pizza in 15 minuti, mangiando velocemente. Restano: 10 minuti.

Ovviamente questi sono i tempi record del cliente, di fronte a quelli meno da record della cucina, che non contemplano: il ritardo di nemmeno un minuto, l’indecisione nell’ordine, la conversazione con i commensali, nemmeno l’andata in bagno.

Il proprietario ha detto, dopo averci fatto alzare con ancora l’ultimo boccone di pizza nel piatto, che la pizza è arrivata tardi perché abbiamo ordinato anche l’antipasto. E se ci fosse andato il dolce?

Il proprietario invita implicitamente ad andare nel suo ristorante solo per mangiare una pizza, senza la possibilità di ordinare antipasti e dolci, se volete cenare con i giusti tempi per la vostra salute e non farvi cacciare. !!Attenzione!! Questi sono solo dati oggettivi. Non sto nemmeno valutando soggettivamente la sconvenienza di andare dal cliente a dire “ve l’avevo detto, è finito il vostro tempo”.

RISPONDO ALLA RISPOSTA: vero che gli orari erano stati comunicati, è stato un errore di valutazione mio pensare che mai nessun ristoratore avrebbe cacciato un cliente. FALSO il ritardo, che è stato di 15 minuti appena, e che ho volutamente omesso per fare il calcolo reale del tempo a disposizione, cosicché chiunque rispetti l’orario sappia che, anche in quel caso, il tempo sarebbe insufficiente a godersi la cena. Ma SOPRATUTTO, FALSO che la pizza sia arrivata dopo 25 minuti, perché, se come dite voi sono arrivata dopo le 20.20, la pizza sarebbe dovuta arrivare alle 20.45.
