Wang — Restaurant in Perugia

Popular local restaurant frequented by students and locals. The food is pretty tasty and the prices are dirt cheap!

Just a short walk downhill, away from the touristy restaurants, and the prices are about 1/4 of the touristy restaurants on top of the hill. On several occasions I've seen locals (2 people) order six dishes but only eat half.... its that cheap! The place is always packed, the service and décor is casual. Even the beers are really cheap :)

Hidden gem that the locals won't tell you about because they want you to spend your money in the touristy area. Also, several other local restaurants in this area but didn't have time to explore. Young, college town vibe in this...

This was a very very bad dining experience! The waiter‘s been playing with his phone all the time! ！！I called him three times and he ignored me. When ordering, I said I couldn't eat mushrooms, and he still served me a plate with mushrooms, and refused to admit that it was his mistake. He was impatient with me the whole time （He might not even understand it! ）and I suspect he was insulting me in Chinese with another girl afterwards. He is the rudest waiter I have ever met! I will not recommend this restaurant to any of...

A due passa dall'università per stranieri, lungo una strada piena di piccoli locali, c'è questo ristorante cinese di cui molti residenti mi avevano parlato. Devo dire che è stata una bella scoperta. Innanzi tutto il locale ha sede al pianterreno di una casa della vecchia Perugia, quindi al suo interno abbiamo delle volte sul soffitto. L'entrata è scomoda per i portatori di handicap, essendoci tavoli ovunque. L'arredo è molto essenziale ma nel suo essere spoglio fa subito taverna e quindi relax. Il menù è ricco e propone sia i piatti tipici della cucina cantonese come gli involtini primavera o il riso alla cantonese, ma anche una notevole varietà di zuppe. Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, le verdure fresche ed i prezzi modici. Non è un all you can eat e per fortuna aggiungerei io. Il vino proposto in bottiglia e' un vino umbro e non è male( ti lasciano anche il tappo se vuoi portartelo via... ottimisti... Non mi conoscono😂). Noi abbiamo preso 1 porzione di involtini primavera ( 3 involtini ) serviti con salsa agrodolce e piccante ( buonissima), Udon con verdure ( ottimi, ben conditi), Zuppa Wang ( zuppa con manzo e verdure fresche )... ottima ci si mangia in 3/ 4 persone, una bottiglia di vino; il tutto abbiamo pagato 25 €. L'accoglienza è discreta, sono cortesi ma non comprendono molto bene l'italiano. Torneremo...
