A Disappointing and Disturbing Experience at Ristorante Indiano Rajasthan, Pisa During our recent visit to Pisa, Italy, we were forced to try out this Indian restaurant that had come highly recommended by our own tour manager (equally responsible it is the tour company to select such restaurant - World Of Wonders Travel Pvt. Unfortunately, our dining experience fell far short of expectations, primarily due to the poor quality of the food served, stale food and a disturbing encounter with the owner. Upon entering the restaurant, the waiter/ owner (Filthy b*tard) ordered us to occupy only few tables and said “If you want to stay then sit here or else go”. This is how customers are welcomed here.

Regrettably, the meal itself was a significant let down by serving us stale food which was informed by 4 persons from our group. I will be writing soon to the Italian officials that how can you allow such restaurant to run and ruin the name of your country.

Stale Food: The biggest disappointment was the freshness of the food. Several dishes tasted as though they had been prepared days in advance and merely reheated. The pizza was horrible with fake cheese or old cheese. Similarly, the dal was of weird colour and tasted old.

Flavour less Curries: The curries we ordered were bland and lacked the depth of flavour The spices were either overused or entirely missing, resulting in dishes that were either overwhelmingly spicy or utterly tasteless.

Poor Quality Ingredients: The quality of the ingredients used was clearly subpar. The vegetables were not fresh, and the chicken in the dishes was tough and chewy, indicating that it had not been cooked properly or sourced from quality suppliers.

Service: The staff was horrible, the service was slow. We waited an unusually long time for our food, which only added to the disappointment when it finally arrived and did not meet our expectations.

Value for Money: Given the poor quality of the food, no one deserve to eat food at such place. We felt that the experience did not justify the cost, leaving us feeling dissatisfied and regretting our choice of restaurant.

Disturbing Encounter with the Owner: What made the experience particularly unsettling was an encounter with the owner. When we politely expressed our concerns about the food, the owner responded aggressively, threatening us and stating that he would lock us inside the restaurant just wait and started calling some local goons. This behavior was completely unacceptable and left us feeling unsafe as many were with family and small children. Also there would be a fight between one of our group tour person and the owner, only because he gave the feedback on the food.

In conclusion, our experience at this restaurant was not only disappointing but also distressing. The combination of stale food, lackluster flavors, poor service, and the owner's threatening behavior made for a regrettable dining experience.

We hope that the officials takes serious steps to CLOSE THIS RESTAURANT considering the behavior of the owner. Until then, we would recommend exploring other dining options in Pisa for a more satisfying and safe meal. Not recommend for any family or group...

I came here this afternoon with my wife and 2 year old baby to have a nice lunch. As soon as I entered the restaurant, the guy said sorry no food, I saw the people already having lunch, then I said "what do you mean no food", then he said he served food only for groups, not for couples or 2-3 people, THIS IS SUCH SHAME AND SAD, I walked almost 2 kms for this restaurant in hot sun with my wife and small infant, this is so horrible experience. In the end, they only feed the groups, maybe because they want to earn more, but rejecting a hungry customer is even ethically wrong for any restaurant for so many reasons. If I go to any German, Italian or any other restaurants for that matter, no one will behave like this. RAJASTHAN RESTAURANT...

Restorante Rajasthan, Pisa, Italy. :- Hotel is very close i. e. at a distance of 100 meters from leaning tower of Pisa. The Food served to us was nicely presented and it was so delicious. They made special sitting arrangements for us. We all were so happy to come here. The staff and their service was excellent. Garden lunch was arranged. Both Indian as well as Italian types veg and nonveg food was made available. We liked Pizza and Pasta having highest quality and best taste. Indian food really enjoyable. Icecream was not upto mark.
