Ristorante Buca di San Ranieri — Restaurant in Pisa

This was really one of the best spontaneous meals I've ever had. I was staying at an Airbnb close by for one night and the host recommended this place to me. I had a delicious meal of papardelle with wild boar (fantastic and huge portion) followed by tiramisu, two glasses of red wine (made by the owner!) and a bottle of san pellegrino for €31! Service was so friendly. They take card but you can't leave a tip with card so make sure you have cash to give them. Really great place and I would definitely recommend if you are in Pisa or a solo traveller...

Ate only once, unfortunately, but it was marvellous. Seppia with chard, that was the meal, one of the best I've ever had. In my whole life. The other meal I've had was risotto with seafood. Worth every recommendation. There are plenty of restaurants in the centre, I mostly avoided them, I don't believe in places that are overcrowded with tourists.
