Worst place I have been in years. I did not get the chance to read the whole menu. Waitress was very hasty in taking the order and when I asked about certain ingredients she made errors in explaining which dishes contained which allergens, as to which I had to amend the order. When I asked for the menu to pick something else, the waitress said I should say a dish because she knew the menu by head, which was incorrect regarding allergens. Waitress brought a tray of sugar packets but failed to explain sugar had also been added to my cafe fresco, which traditionally contains only milk, coffee, and ice cubes. When I requested another latte, sugar free (again due to dietary restrictions), the waitress became irritable and I was charged both lattes. After this, the waitress served both the iced latte and dishes without saying anything more. The ravioli was only four pieces and clearly microwaved as visible on the dried out pasta skin. There was no sauce. The spaghetti was served undercooked. We just decided we wanted to leave, very disappointed by the service and food quality, as we had read some nice reviews. The second waiter who handled the bill was irritable as well and did not want to remove the first latte from the bill. We ended up paying 35 euros for this,...

There was quite frankly nothing redeemable about this place. We ordered the Boom eggs toast - the hollandaise was a disgrace. Mixed with turmeric and other bits for some reason, it was absolutely smeared all over the food too so rendered the plate inedible. Poached eggs were rubbery and not fresh, similar to McDonald’s breakfast eggs. The pancakes were clearly not fresh at all, most likely frozen I can assume? Definitely not homemade - they were too identical and also rubbery. I made a complaint at the end of the meal to the manager, who didn’t ONCE apologise or simply say the word ‘sorry’? We did get the two things I complained about removed from our bill, which was the correct gesture, but honestly I mentioned those because those were the worst of them all. Nothing there was really worth paying for at all. Lastly, the servers were rude way before we had ordered and were not attentive at all, despite the small place being filled with staff. The music could not have...

The worst pasta you could ever have.

We went for the vegan options. Penne with cauliflower sauce and vegetables and salad.

Both were tasteless. Not even extra salt would help. The pasta was overcooked and broccoli completely dead. The sauce was watery sitting at the bottom of the plate.

I don't like to waste food so I kept adding salt but it did nothing to it.

The salad had something sweet that didn't match, some jam or something that disrupted the whole experience.

Service great. It took ages to get that salt but they were nice.

The ginger lemonade was awesome.

Atmosphere okay, they dimmed the lights after we got in. Not bad, at least we didn't see the food.

If you're up for aperitivo this is the place. Although we went for dinner it was still served and...

Drinks were good. Ginger lemonade was delicious. However, the food we ordered came out within 5 minutes, way too fast for Risotto and Pork Ribs. Firstly, the risotto was bland and had no flavour and only one shrimp on top for garnish. This is disappointing considering what we pay. Secondly, the pork ribs, no flavour, the rub might as well been not there. When I complained, I was asked if I wanted salt'n'pepper. Seriously. I asked for the seasoning to be done so the food has some taste. It came back literally 2 minutes later, quicker than ordering a Happy Meal at McDonalds. It was a tiny bit better, edible, but chewy and 60% bone/fat. Hey, McDonalds would have been better. Definitely do not recommend eating here. Drinks yes, food No No.

My friend and I ordered the spaghetti frutti di mare with marinara sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce was rich and flavorful without being watery, and the dish came generously loaded with fresh seafood — mussels, clams and prawns. It’s rare to find a seafood pasta where every bite delivers both quality and quantity, but Leonardo Cafe and Ristoro nailed it. The flavors were fresh and balanced, and you could tell care went into preparing the dish. If you’re in Pisa, I highly recommend stopping here. I know I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.
