Roba da Matti — Restaurant in Pisa

Had my first meal in Italy here in Roba da Matti. The owner didnt turn me away because I am foreigner and cant speak any Italian but tried his best to serve me in warm and polite manner. The food is amazing as the handmade pizza is so chewy in the middle and crispy at the end which takes it to whole new level. Throughout the meal, the staff always served me with smile and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the shop which left me a very good impression to Italy. Highly recommended...

On our last evening in Italy, we found this superb restaurant. The pizzas were the best we had all holiday, truly delicious, beautifully cooked and having wonderfully fresh ingredients. The service was welcoming, friendly and helpful from beginning to end. If you are in Pisa, we can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Do yourself a favour, be a little adventurous, go slightly off the tourist circuit and...

I was a regular customer, but since the change of management everything took a turn for the worse. I've never been treated this bad in a restaurant, and even if the pizza is still decent the service is terrible: the waitress just used us to vent her frustration, treating me and my friends in an unprofessional, rude, ill-mannered way....
