We were very disappointed. We were a group of 6 and the restaurant was quiet. The manager was very blunt and looked like she didn’t really want our custom, however we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as maybe she had had a busy day. We ordered different pasta dishes, the purple gnocchi, the spaghetti pomodoro, the truffle spaghetti, the tagliatelle with tuna, the ravioli with ragù. Th food came quickly, within maybe 10 minutes. We each tried them and they had hardly any flavour, apart from the pomodoro. This was really disappointing from a restaurant which literally just has one thing to get right- pasta! We were expecting to eat something special and we didn’t get that. This combined with the poor service means I would not recommend this place.

Looking at reviews, they are all quite out of date, which makes me think maybe they have had a change of chef or management and it isn’t as good as the pictures suggest.

We asked the waitress if we could move the tables and she nodded. Then another waitress came out and told us we couldn’t. We said no problem (even though the area was empty, nothing reserved and no guests waiting) and squeezed onto the smaller table. It was late and we were hungry so yes, we did eat most of our food. I’ve heard Covid used as an excuse for a lot of things but this is just funny 😂 no, we did not have Covid or were effected by it- the truth is the food did not have much flavour.

Perhaps instead of spending time responding to reviews, you should use the time more wisely to...

Condivido anche qua la mia esperienza in questo ristorante vissuta nel mese di settembre (l'avevo scritta su TripAdvisor ma ho notato che qua ha più riscontro). Avevamo prenotato un tavolo per due a pranzo per le 13.30 per fare il giropasta e siamo arrivati massimo 10 minuti dopo ... all'arrivo ci fanno aspettare ad un tavolino completamente al sole perchè "dovete aspettare che il vostro tavolo si liberi" (che era appunto occupato da altri signori) e già questo è assurdo perché se noi prenotiamo un tavolo non potete farci aspettare perché occupato!!! Dopo un po' quando ci fanno sedere ci dicono che non avrebbero più effettuato il giropasta perchè troppo tardi ... Eravamo andati lì solo per il giropasta e invece abbiamo quindi dovuto ordinare un piatto unico e tutto questo non è giusto... inoltre ordino un primo in cui era presente la paprika e chiedo alla cameriera se fosse piccante (nel caso non lo avrei preso) mi dice assolutamente di no invece era letteralmente immangiabile...

EDIT rispondo alla risposta del proprietario: Non avevo letto la sua risposta su TripAdvisor perché non ero a conoscenza della possibilità su quella piattaforma di inviare messaggi privati. Per quanto riguarda ciò che ha scritto, mi stupisco di quante menzogne siano presenti; innanzitutto al mio ragazzo era stato comunicato che il giropasta non sarebbe stato più disponibile DALLE 14 e non dalle 13 e 30, altrimenti non avremmo MAI prenotato per quell'ora. C'è la conversazione su WhatsApp che attesta tutto ciò. Come ho specificato sulla recensione, noi siamo arrivati 10 minuti dopo, è stata la cameriera a farci aspettare per diverso tempo in quanto il tavolo che noi AVEVAMO PRENOTATO era occupato. Inoltre non c'è mai stato chiesto se preferivamo un tavolo interno o esterno, anche perché non essendo mai stati nel suo ristorante non eravamo a conoscenza della possibilità di scegliere fuori o dentro. Noi abbiamo solo prenotato un generico tavolo per due,stop. Quando siamo arrivati ci è stato detto che appunto il tavolo DA NOI PRENOTATO era occupato e dovevamo aspettare. Non ci è stato assolutamente detto che era disponibile un tavolo all'interno altrimenti avremmo certamente accettato e anche preferito anziché aspettare. Detto questo, la mia recensione è stata assolutamente rispettosa e chiara, faccio veramente fatica a capire dove lei vede la cattiveria gratuita dato che ho con tutto il mio diritto raccontato civilmente la mia esperienza, dato che è ciò che ci è permesso fare su questa piattaforma. Mi viene da pensare che probabilmente non conosce il significato del termine "cattiveria gratuita" visto che nella mia recensione non risulta esserne traccia. Ho voluto soltanto riferire fedelmente ciò...

If can give them 0 stars, I would. The service is the worse thing I have seen in my life. This is the 4th time we tried to eat there and they always have an excuse to denied us. The first time, they were full. The second time, we showed up at 2:30 and they said they were closed (their hours are from 12 to 3 pm.) The third time, they said that their kitchen was closed. Today, I tried to call to make a reservation and their phone wasn't working, so we showed up at 2 pm and they just told us that they don't have tables available for us but the entire patio was empty. When we asked why they can't seat us in the patio, they said that today they are not seating people on the patio. I told them to check their phone because it's not working, but the waiter told us that he doesn't know and that it's not his job... What else can I say... We're not...
