La Fiamma — Restaurant in Pompei

Terrible service!!!! We ordered 2 pizza and have to wait more than 40 minutes and our pizza wasn’t ready. During this 40 minutes there have come plenty of people and ordered pizza, they took their pizza after 5 minutes but we have to wait 40 and pizza was not cooked. Maybe because we don’t speak Italian they ignored us!! We asked what happened with our order and not any explanation of the staff, not any excuses!!! After 5 more minutes we asked again what is happening with our order. Suddenly they insulted and cursed us, threw money at us and drove us out. We did not expect such an attitude! Absolutely Fantastic

I was on my to go see the pompeii ruins and was feeling quite hungry and bumped into this restaurant and I’m glad I did. Fresh delicious pizza with a nice crisp crust perfectly cooked though out and in just 5 to 6 minutes you can’t go wrong. The staff were very friendly too which added to the whole atmosphere they are quite a small restaurant so it might be difficult to get a table around the touristy year. I know when I ever return to pompeii again I shall be returning to this restaurant again...

We ended up stumbling up on this place to get out of the rain on our way from the train station to Pompeii. We got the La Doc and it was phenomenal. I haven't had a ton of Italian pizza (yet), but compared to American pizza this was the best pizza I have ever had. I wasn't even that hungry when we got there and I ended up finishing the entire pizza because it was so good. The staff working there spoke only a little English but they were very patient and helpful to us. I cannot recommend this...
