Pizzeria Parthenope 2.0 — Restaurant in Porto Cesareo

We arrived at 7 and asked for a table for two when they informed us that ghe place is opening at 8. We said OK we will be back. At 8 it was full house already, turns out they open at 19:30 but they managed to give us a table when I mentioned this. We ordered water a cheese and ham plate and two pizzas. We waited 30 min for the cheese and ham plate, it was very very poorly displayed, 4 slices of thin cheese and hams. We waited an other 30 for the pizzas that we even asked one of the waiters to bring please, otherwise I highly doubt we would've recieved. The whole time we were contempleting on leaving then a random street entertainer showed up who stopped with his car that probably wasn't washed since 2021 blasted the music on an old portable stereo and did nothing just dancing around as if he was drunk. I bet you it was tthe restaurant's paid entertainer to amuse people in line. 😀 hat the end we paid 38 EUR. They speak little english. We ended up in this pizzeria after we couldn't sit in a restaurant nearby, which was full. But to our surprise this restaurant had the greatest pizza in the town, that we were searching for since day 1 of our vacation (and unfortunately we found it at our last night..). Initially (i think the owner) was serving us, but he was not speaking English, so he asked a colleague of his to take our table. This new guy delivered an excellent service, recommended a really good beer, and of course great pizzas. The pizzas are truly delicious, with large size and could easily beat some Naples restaurants. For our family this was the best pizza...

Pure tourist trap. Waited 30 minutes for table then an hour and 10 min more for the pizza. Although the pizza is fine it simply isn’t worth your time when you can sit at a different restaurant and for a fraction of the time get a better pizza. The pizza is not even that good not enough ingredients and the mushrooms weren’t fresh and wasn’t cooked enough. Lackluster pizza, bad service, lots of noise, no wifi, no music, etc. Only come here on non busy days so you don’t wait a whole day.
