Miragalli — Restaurant in Praiano

Wow Miragalli! Mario and Angela are such genuine lovely people, hands down the best service we experienced throughout our two week’s in Italy. Their love for what they do and their love of hosting people is clear from the moment you arrive and it just goes uphill from there with delicious signature and traditional cocktails, as well as cheeses and meats galore, and all such good quality fare.

We went back every night of our stay in Praiano and loved chatting with Mario and looking out at the ocean and Positano, the views from the outside area are so stunning, watching the sunset there was a highlight of our stay. As was the delizia al limone dessert which I had each night too before finishing up with a locally made Limoncello shot, highly recommend both these things!

The cocktail and snack bar is also accompanied by a retail space where you can find a great variety of local arts and giftware at a reasonable price, all displayed so beautifully. We brought several items and cannot wait to get them home and to use them, remembering our time on the Amalfi Coast. We stayed in Praiano in August and of all of the places we visited along the Amalfi Coast, Miragalli was one of our favorite spots! Mario and everyone there was beyond welcoming and made amazing cocktails and the best charcuterie board we’ve ever had! When I said I loved white wine, Mario suggested I try a few during our visit and they were all delicious! Everything was so great, this wound up being the only place we visited more than once during our trip. On our last night we returned for our last cocktails (try the lemon martini!) and got to meet some more of the family who were all so kind! They also have a great selection of candy, ornaments, limoncello and other items that make great gifts! After a beautiful day of hiking from Bomerano down to Praiano, we were looking for a place with nice atmosphere, good drinks, and a charcuterie board for sharing before dinner. We found Miragalli and were not disappointed!! The space is clean, bright, colorful, and is shared with a local arts, ceramics, and foods shop. Mario and Angela were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, giving us a description of all the cheeses, cured meats, and sides with the board, most from the local region. Everything was amazing, and we purchased a jar of the local chestnut honey, which had such a wonderful, unique flavor.
