Long story short. If you are someone who is always in a rush or feels impatient, this might not be the right spot for you. The restaurant is run by a single person who manages everything - from the kitchen to service and beyond. Believe me, it is a one-man show, but it works just beautifully. We dined here on three separate evenings, which I think speaks about how special this place truly is. The food constantly surprised and delighted me every time. The owner, Piccoletto, is deeply involved in every aspect of the experience. He takes the time to come to your table, share insights about the dishes, and give you a personal connection to the meal. He is hard at work preparing the food so you better be patient. Also, if you are lucky, you will even get to watch him cook. And, for an even rarer treat, he might surprise you with a trumpet performance during your dinner - an unforgettable, live music experience. The flavors in the food are phenomenal, and every dish is worth trying. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Piccoletto for everything he did for us during our visit. I am already looking forward to our next time in town and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting. A Fond Farewell from Your Argentine Friends.

We stumbled upon Saghir’s restaurant when searching for places to eat locally in Priano during our honeymoon and I am SO glad we did. Like everyone else says - do yourself a favour and go. It’s delicious and a fantastic experience. Prices are reasonable, location is convenient if you’re staying in Priano, and Saghir is so impressive. He is a one man show - doesn’t even have a printed menu, he brings you the chalkboard with todays menu (I assume it changes based on what local ingredients he has available). Feels so authentic. One difference in my experience from most was speed. Many caution you may wait a bit because he is a one man show, and we were okay with that, coming from Rome we wanted a nice, quiet dinner, but we did not wait for anything more than you would at any restaurant. Drinks, food, etc. all came quickly (though I have no idea how). He also had 4-5 other tables going at the same time. You can tell it’s a good mix of locals and travellers. I’d go back here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting!

I’ve eaten at many restaurants, but this experience was truly unique. The chef — and I mean the chef — did absolutely everything. He took our order, cooked the meal, served it with a smile, and even checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Watching one person handle an entire restaurant with such grace and passion was inspiring. You could tell he put his heart into every detail, from the seasoning of the food to the way the plate was presented. The food itself? Absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with love. The service was personal and genuine, because, well… it was personal! We had Gamberetti Sale e Pepe, Ravioli Caprese, Spaghetti Vongole, Spaghetti Puttanesca, Swordfish and Tiramisu. It might take a bit longer than usual since it’s a one-man operation, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You’re not just eating out — you’re witnessing dedication in action. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, authenticity, and a touch of human magic in their dining experience.
