This unassuming spot near the bus stop is a perfect place to grab food while checking out the town or fuelling up to walk up 1000 stairs on the path of the gods. For starters, they serve your beer in a frosty glass. That’s like a 5 star review right there but let’s talk about the food before we get too carried away. We had the eggplant parm and the spaghetti al pomodoro. Both were some of the best we’ve ever had. Like for real. The tomatoes were so bright and sweet. Absolutely perfect for a sunny day. Service was fast and friendly. Prices super reasonable. Can’t say enough good things.

This was our favorite place in praiano. The pasta carbonara was incredible. We tried to come back on a Tuesday after hiking oath of the gods and they were closed sadly (please update your hours!!) The meatballs were also amazing. So soft and juicy. Then we also came for breakfast and the French toast was maybe the best I’ve ever had til really great place, highly recommend!

Best carbonara I had during my 2-week trip in Italy. It was one of the 2 pasta of the day (18€). I felt it was a bit expensive but I found them so delicious. It’s closed to the bus stop and they also do brunchs but I didn’t try it. They have tables outside but it might be a bit noisy as the restaurant is in the main road

Overall not a pleasant experience. For an Italian Café, the choices were pretty standard: Pancakes, Bread and Avocado Toast among 2 or 3 more choices. Not even a standard cornetto was available for breakfast. The café was good, I went with a "Continental Breakfast". A Croissant and Bread with Butter or Jam. I first only got the bread with butter and jam. The bread was dry as if it would have stood there two days, the jam looked as though it was bought from the local discounter and the croissant only came after I reminded the locals of it. Until it came, I did not even have a plate I could eat my dry bread on. The croissant itself then was not anywhere near crunchy, but rather almost wet and sticky.

I do not recommend to go eat there under any circumstances, as it was not tasty and very much overpriced for Italian standards, with my breakfast costing 10 Euros. To add insult to injury, the music that played...

So where to begin ? Well when we first arrived for breakfast we placed our orders.

My order included an egg omelet without cheese. The owner reconfirmed with me that I didn’t want cheese and offered to substitute with ham.

The omelet came out to be served full of cheese and no ham. Ok not a big deal right?

My kids and wife ordered pancakes with berries. They served the pancakes covered in icing sugar. To the point it seemed like over kill. Well when we scraped away all the icing sugar, the pancakes were burnt really badly.

And finally, the berries that were served with the breakfast were covered in mould. They offered us new berries which of course at that point we were over it.

Needless to say not a...

We went here for breakfast and chose off the menu board which listed an American breakfast which included coffee, orange juice, omelette, scrambled eggs, toast and preserves which sounded good but a bit expensive for 20 euros. It should have stated that you had to choose from those dishes and all were not included. The bread/toast was dry and cold and 2 tiny pieces. We ordered more and were then charged a further 6 Euros for 6 small pieces! The coffee and omlette were nice, but for 20 euros it was not worth the money we paid. The atmosphere was dead and we got the feeling we were an inconvenience to the waiter. Avoid as there are better places just...
