Che Bontà in Praiano, Italy, is a delightful gem that delivers a satisfying dining experience with its tasty pizzas and exceptional service. Nestled in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, this cozy pizzeria captures the essence of Italian hospitality and flavor. The pizzas are a highlight, boasting a perfectly crisp yet chewy crust, fresh toppings, and a well-balanced sauce that sings with authentic Italian ingredients. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or a more adventurous option, the quality shines through in every bite. What truly elevates Che Bontà is its fast and friendly service. The staff greets you with genuine warmth, making you feel like a local even if it’s your first visit. Orders arrive promptly without sacrificing attention to detail, and the team’s enthusiasm for their craft is infectious. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, ideal for a casual meal with friends or family while soaking in Praiano’s charm. While the menu isn’t overly extensive, the focus on quality over quantity works in its favor. Che Bontà is a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking a memorable meal with heart. For a slice of Amalfi Coast magic, this spot delivers...

We were a little peckish after a day of scooting from Minori to Amalfi and Positano. We stopped here for a bit of food and it was the best decision of the day! I highly doubt I will ever forget the food here. We had a pizza (diabolo e gorgonzola) and the escarole side salad. I didn't eat as well in Amalfi or Positano. I sound over the top but I'll be thinking of this pizza and salad for the rest of my life, I'm already trying to think of ways to come back. The service was great, quick, nice and kind. The lemon spritz was also very good. The espresso was perfect! The pasta other patrons had looked to die for!!

We had a pizza, an escarole side salad, two lemon spritz', and two espressos and the "cover/person" for 56€. Well worth the price! I'll absolutely come back here every chance I get. I'll detour if I have too. I cannot say how good this restaurant is. The ONLY comment I'd have for the owners/chef is you should consider a pizza that incorporates the escarole salad on it!!! I'll taste...

Two vegans on a limited budget dining on the Amalfi coast isn't easy...

But although Che Bonta didn't have anything vegan listed on the menu, our waiter was more than accomodating with making us plenty of food to make sure we didn't go hungry!

Beautiful tomato bruschetta to start, followed by two delicious cheese-less pizzas with a veg selection. One with a tomato base, and the other with a courgette cream base which was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. So creamy and added a richness that made up for the lack of cheese.

So good I've actually now been converted to pizza without even vegan cheese.

Since we hadn't eaten well the night before, he also made us up a yummy plate of the tomato gnocchi, which again, was divine.

The only downside was the rather frustrating habit of restaurants charging above and beyond for water and 'table covers' but hey, we were very grateful for great food without the fine-dining price/portion feel of the...

Believe me when I tell you that this is some of the best pizza and food I’ve had. Family owned restaurant with every part of the family working inside. It’s amazing to see, and you immediately realize that everything’s going to be perfect, because they care. We ordered a classic margarita, a calzone (which is massive) and a specialty dish that they brought out, which had artichoke, shrimp, and lemon, The pizza was outrageous. Incredible tasty, thin, very light and so was the calzone, fried lightly where you didn’t feel that you were so stuffed. The specialty dish they brought out was phenomenal. The dessert was an orange tart cake with candita (candied fruit) inside. So when visiting the Amalfi coast, definitely stop by Che Bontà in Priano and enjoy an amazing meal with some incredible people.

Our visit to Che Bontà in Praiano was a delightful culinary journey through local flavors. After a long day’s work, we sought out not just pizza but also a taste of the region’s specialties. While the typical dishes didn’t quite live up to the local reputation, the pizza exceeded expectations, boasting a perfect balance of flavors and a satisfying crust. The warm and welcoming ambiance added to the experience, making us feel right at home. Despite the slight letdown with the traditional dishes, our overall impression of Che Bontà remains overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the outstanding quality of their pizza and the friendly service.
