BAM - Break nell'Abitato Moderno — Restaurant in Ragusa

Me, my partner and newborn son came to this beautiful park in Ragusa "Villa Margherita" little did we know there was a small fine dining restaurant/bar where on Sunday you can have a buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner or an aperitivo. There was a child's party organised as we sat outside and was greeted by the waiters who where very prompt to serve us. We waited at the table, where the first waiter was very kind, funny and professional. We could tell he really enjoys his job and they work hard as the place is opened all day until 3am. Wow! We had a 5 course meal of fish and I have to say, was tasty 50euro p/p. Appetiser, first, second, third and dolce (which was a triple chocolate cake slice) . So good! We had all together 1 white wine and 3 gin and tonics. They offered us the coffees and gave us a discount, paid around 120 euros all together. Pro: Abbiamo mangiato bene, cibo fresco, particolare e di qualità. (Tranne il dolce che veniva presentato come panna cotta ma in realtà era un dolce al cucchiaio al retrogusto di formaggio.) Locale carino e musica leggera con dj. Personale cordiale. Contro: Abbiamo prenotato il tavolo, ma quando siamo arrivati ci hanno risposto di aspettare che si liberasse un tavolo, nonostante fossimo arrivati in orario. 15 minuti di attesa per sederci, nonostante la prenotazione. Abbiamo ordinato un bicchiere di vino di una marca specifica, ma non abbiamo potuto verificare in quanto non hanno portato la bottiglia e versato davanti i nostri occhi ma sono venuti già con il bicchiere mezzo pieno, per non dire mezzo vuoto! ( 6 euro un bicchiere). Nella toilet mancava la carta igienica e il sapone mani. Nello scontrino hanno messo il prezzo intero della bottiglia nonostante avessimo preso solo un bicchiere. Quando lo abbiamo fatto notare ci hanno rifatto lo scontrino ma mi chiedo perché si sbaglia sempre in eccesso e mai in difetto.

Spero che questa recensione possa tornare utile a chi gestisce il locale, in quanto è una nuova gestione e magari si dovrebbe fare più attenzione a certi dettagli che fanno...
