Hello,
today we tried this Restaurant according to the nice look and the interior. The prices seem to be very fair. The Pizza Marinara was 7€ which is ok for the Roma Metropolitan Area, also 4€ for Bruschetta seemed to be good value for money.
When the Bruschetta arrived I knew this is going to be a mediocre Restaurant as there was no taste of Olive oil, salt or garlic and the portion was way to small. There was even dry salad leaves on the side of the plate which where without sauce or anything else. The only thing which was ok was the bread as it was crispy.
So far so bad - the Pizza Marina followed. And this was a big insult to Italia. The dough was thin as paper and way to crispy. The outside was way to thin and not fluffy at all. The sauce was mediocre and there was not much flavor in the sauce. I had way better Marinaras for 3,50€. I know it’s Roma but for 7€ you can expect a better Pizza.
At least the wine was good to wash the mediocre food down the throat.
Please improve your food for the sake of the poor tourist dining...
Read morePositives: pesto pasta, lasagne, and pizza were all great. Got a table right away. Server and rest of staff were nice. Tirimisu had great flavor. Negatives: forgot to put in the order for the pizza so it came out after everyone else was pretty much done with their dinner. Focaccia appetizer was not great. Tirimisu was lacking on the lady fingers; I think there were two in the entire dessert. My glass of wine was obviously open for too long; my one sip was essentially like drinking vinegar and also came with a couple fruit flies floating in there which I found with the first sip. The server never asked why I didn’t touch the rest of the glass of wine; I think they were trying to get rid of the last of it and didn’t want to even ask about it so as...
Read moreWe were initially impressed when looking at the menu during the day and after speaking with the gent on the door said we’d come for dinner. At dinner, We queued in quite a line f customers awaiting seating and when we got to the front asked if we could be seated outside if possible as a table had become free. He went to guide us but another couple, not in the queue jumped in the seats this queue jumping seems to happen a lot we found during our time in Rome. I suggested he explained that there was a queue waiting and we were shocked when he collected the menus and took them to the queue jumper’s and started dealing with them. We left along with a few others who had been waiting to be seated. Very poor customer service. For this basis’ I would...
