Famiglia — Restaurant in Rome

This was second time there...previously I will give 4* but not this time. We had to wait very long time for a food even the place was not that full. When the food arrived, we were very disappointed. Salad consists from chopped lettuce, corn from can, few tasteless pieces of tomato and shaves of carrot which wasn't cleaned properly - no dressing, tasteless. Pizza with shrimps was dry and shrimps were actually the smallest possible prawns in cold mayo cocktail sauce over that dry pizza. Because it was truly inedible, we just wanted to pay and go. Waiter asked if he should packed it for us and we refused as we told him is not good at all. The waiter wanted to make us another dish but we weren't at mood to stay there longer. We could tell that waiter felt surprised that the food wasn't good and he insisted that we will pay only for beverages. So in this case fair play to waiter but we would never recommend this restaurant as nice and tasty...

We had an absolutely incredible dinner at La Famiglia! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I stayed at the hotel next to this place for 7 nights and every night, the owners would try to get me to eat there but we would always kindly refuse since we are always just coming back from dinner.

On our last night I needed water and decided to just buy a large bottle from them. I saw their display of pizza so I just thought to try one. Took a bite and it was actually so freaking delicious haha.

I also ordered pork sinigang the next day (they serve pinoy food), but it was just okay. I should probably give them a simple recipe to make it 10x...
