A Hidden Gem in Rome — A Culinary Journey Through Eastern Europe

During our short trip to Rome this month, we were incredibly lucky to discover this exceptional restaurant that serves a beautiful blend of Russian, Georgian, Armenian, and Ukrainian cuisine. We ended up dining there twice—not out of convenience, but because we simply couldn’t stop thinking about the flavors and the warmth of the experience.

Every single dish we tried was freshly prepared with love and care, bursting with authentic flavors and comforting textures. You could taste the tradition behind each bite—true soul food. From the first plate to the last, we savored everything completely. Not a single crumb was left behind.

What truly set this place apart, though, was the individualized attention given to each guest. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel so welcome—it felt like dining in someone’s home, where hospitality is genuine and thoughtful. It’s rare to find such personalized care, especially in a busy city like Rome.

And to top it all off: the prices were more than reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. It’s clear that this place is driven by passion, not just business.

A very cosy and nice restaurant with mixed cuisine : Russian/ Ucranian/ Giorgian and Armenian. The owner is very kind and ready to help and explains every dish, the quality is very high and fresh, they use the ingredients that are very typical for the cuisine and the flavour of dishes is very authentic! There is a big variety of dishes : fish, meat, vegetables, side dishes; that’s why also vegetarians can find smth to eat! It’s very close to the metro B line San Paolo, so just some minutes walk. So lovely to enjoy traditional food from Eastern Europe and Caucasus region. After spending a week in Italy, we wanted to find some food reminiscent of home and this restaurant did just that. Amazing, fresh food served in a timely manner and truly authentic cuisine. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food made for a perfect experience. The prices were very reasonable (and on the low end to be honest) for the amount and quality of food served. Best food we had all week in Rome! Highly recommend this...
