BIG MUFF — Restaurant in Rome

A cracking little boozer hidden away in residential Rome. Everyone knows everyone n they all make you welcome. A smashing local session IPA was about 6 euro (£5). You can get oysters with your pint. Some rocking music n football on the tele. Boozers don’t really get much better than this - Guinness on draft, IPA on draft, German beer on draft, friendly bar folk, cool n chilled local clientele in for a pint, football on a massive tele, and rocking music. There is a table football. Sadly no pool table, it’s quite small so likely no space for a pool table. Food is simple but will sustain you through a session. And oysters with each pint! Fantastic. And across the road, 7m away, is a smashing restaurant knocking out home cooked food. Big Muff is open till 1am and even after midnight they’ll sort you out with a cheese burger. Thanks Big Muff for having me, I’m glad I entered. I hope to return with my burd for a holiday. Fuck the coliseum, Big Muffs...

[Aggiornamento]: il pub è ormai il punto di riferimento del quartiere per quanto riguarda le birre artigianali (buona la scelta della gestione di cambiare spesso le birre alla spina), inoltre l'offerta è stata arricchita da un'ottima scelta di vini di qualità. Da qualche settimana il locale è aperto dalla mattina per preparare colazioni (sia italiane, sia English breakfast) e per pranzo. Ogni tanto il sabato mattina viene proposta l'originalissima "Mattinata Spritz". Il personale è sempre cordiale, disponibile e professionale capace di supportare (e sopportare) le richieste dell'eterogenea utenza. I prezzi sono adeguati al servizio e al prodotto offerto.

[Aggiornamento]: dopo un anno di vita il pub è un riferimento del quartiere, la qualità dell'offerta è molto migliorata e il locale ha ormai una personalità più matura. Lo consiglierei a chiunque cerca birra e alcolici di alta qualità.

Buon pub con ottime birre artigianali, è aperto da poco quindi ancora in fase di rodaggio, ha ottimi presupposti per diventare un riferimento...

Huge selection of craft beers and whiskey, super tasty food (Tielle di Gaeta, home made nuggets, brownie etc). Highly recommended for beers and food lovers. Good vibes, nice and cozy place!
