Honestly one of the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We had to ask three times to order!! We waited a ridiculous amount of time to even order. Waited again to be served.... Time spent waiting in total? 1h30. Yes, I timed it. The 'owner' (I suppose) didn't even offer an apology when he came to take our order. He shrugged it off and said 'it's busy tonight' when it's his responsibility to decline new customers if they can't serve them.
We waited all this time for a bowl of rice, two small dishes, and naans.
When it came to pay, we again had to wait because they apparently don't know how to wait tables and use their machines. They didn't ask to make sure we had the right order, just threw the card machine at us. This happened to all customers trying to pay that night... Waiting and waiting. There were at least two other tables like us tonight, arrived at the same time, waiiiiiiited, and finally being able to eat and leave. If it hadn't been already so late, I would have gone out and ate somewhere else.
BTW they include a service fee that they never mention and you discover on your receipt!
Oh and the owner didn't even make a gesture in the end. And hasn't apologized. When he seemed to get annoyed with his waiter (who tried to be kind to us in spite of everything), I decided that it was the last straw and said told him what I thought of that night. He clearly said 'oh sorry' like he didn't mean it so I left it at that.
100% wouldn't recommend. Food wasn't the best Indian restaurant I went too either so save your time and money.
Again, it's the restaurant's responsibility to decline customers when it takes them 1h30...

I’ve been using The Fork for over three years. It’s always been a reliable way to discover new restaurants and enjoy discounts that the restaurants themselves choose to offer. Unfortunately, this was the first time I left feeling insulted and disappointed.
We booked an Indian restaurant that had listed itself on The Fork with a promotional discount — an offer we simply used as intended. But from the moment we arrived, the attitude was unwelcoming. The staff were cold, borderline rude, and clearly hesitant about honoring a Fork booking.
To make matters worse, the food was horrible — bland, poorly prepared, and clearly not up to standard. Portions were noticeably smaller than what other tables received, and the overall quality felt like an afterthought. It was shocking to be treated this way in a restaurant run by fellow Indians, especially as Indian customers ourselves.
The experience felt like we were being penalized for using a valid discount — and made to feel less valued because of it. If a restaurant chooses to list on The Fork, it should treat all customers with respect, regardless of how they booked.
I’ve had great experiences through The Fork for years, but this was a real letdown — both culturally and...
Read moreBombay is a good Indian restaurant and I liked the decor and overall ambiance of the place. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English as well as Italian.
The food was good but I found the meal to be incredibly expensive and the portion sizes smaller than I would have expected. I was particular shocked by my €12 Lamb Vindaloo which did not include rice and comprised of only four small pieces of meat. (photos attached)
The restaurant was very clean and tidy but the waiter/owner wasn't wearing his mask properly as he moved between tables taking orders and serving food. I found this a little worrying considering we were seated inside and still in the middle...
