We were looking for somewhere to eat real Roman dishes. While the food didn't disappoint, we were left a bit dissatisfied with our treatment.

We didn't make a reservation, but thankfully, there was a table for us. This table was in a quiet corner shared with 2 other tables. We couldn't help but notice that the other 2 tables received immediate service, while we were made to wait.

The exception to the rule was a waitress with curly hair. Thank you.

As mentioned, the food was lovely. But when you are met with rudeness, it lessens the flavour.

Clearly, this is a busy establishment. And they knew we wouldn't be repeat customers. Perhaps we should've gone to MacDonald's instead.

As for atmosphere, we made our own. When we were at the bar paying the bill, we saw the owner floating about to all the tables. It was 11pm yet everyone was drinking, singing, having a great time. While in our little corner :...

Una vera cantina, anche se moderna. Grande varietà di vini. Intensa atmosfera. Ampio dehor. Abbiamo assaggiato pasta broccoli e alici, purtroppo mancavano le alici. Matriciana ottima. Carbonara ha spazi di miglioramento. AGGIORNAMENTO: Sono tornato a fine giugno 2023 per una cena in famiglia. Il livello , che era già buono, si è alzato. La location esterna, è veramente di grande atmosfera, con delle splendide piante di banano alte che proteggono dalla strada e una illuminazione giusta. Anche gli interni sono in stile cantina di alto livello. Si vede che c'è stata una attenta e riuscita progettazione. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano tutti di ottimo livello. Gricia senza carciofi, con le giuste proporzioni di pecorino, crema e guanciale cotto al punto giusto, non grasso. Solo il pepe era a piacere. Antipasti con focaccia grande, mortadella, tartufo e pistacchio, moscardini alla Luciana, mazzancolle... E poi polpette al sugo, scaloppine di vitello. Per finire due dolci.
