Add colour - and flavour - to your day by visiting this exquisite Japanese pastry shop! Location and look 'n' feel: Spot on, easy to reach in the midst of the shopping area. The shop itself is very cute, impossible to miss with its radiant colours. There's very limited indoor seating, but outdoor there's plenty (considering the area). Delicacies: Exquisite in every detail. There's absolutely nothing you could complain about! Each delicacy is an experience of rich, intricate mix of perfectly-matching flavours, elegantly designed. The thought, plan and execution poured into each almost-flawless item is astonishing. If you don't feel like having sweets it's okay, there's alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and some traditional cuisine (such as onigiri). Obviously, don't expect full cuisine! Prices: The humble prices really surprised me, considering the sheer effort they put into every detail. Overall: I'll be back. Often. With a book. P. S. My photos don't do this place, nor the sweet I had, any justice.

Lovely staff, kakigori was on point. Will definitely go again when in Rome.

The best thing is the ramen broth which is imported from Japan. This pastry shop makes lots of cute Japanese cakes also in individual servings. They have lots of other cute things for sale. Inside, they only have a stool or two. The seating is spacious outside in a white tent. Probably better when not so cold. They also make chicken curry which is a brown sauce with chicken, potatoes, and carrots. Served with firm sticky rice. Of all the ramen broths I’ve tried in Rome so far, I liked this one the best but maybe because it was creamy in color and not porky tasting. This pastry shop just started making savory food so this is primarily a pastry and tea shop. If you need a Japanese “cute” fix, this is a good place to start.
