Foodoo Botanic Bistrot — Restaurant in Rome

I was here tonight. I was really happy to find their bar in this street. That's exactly the bar I wanted to stay in : modern, modern décoration, rock music. Everything was perfect, the waiter is really funny and warmful. But I ask for pasta with mushrooms, it wasn't really tasty. Pasta are not homemade. And 15minutes after eating I felt something really wrong in my stomach. A lot of pains, I didn't finish, i went and pains grew up, i've finished vomitting the street. Were thé mushrooms not fresh ? But the waiter was really nice to me and concerned, he offers me for free a bottle of water and sweets to make me better before i go. My wife and I were staying at the Waldorf Hotel just up the hill. Looking for more of a local restaurant with more reasonable pricing we ventured out and walked down to Foodoo. Great ambience and the staff was very nice. and of course on top of all that, the food was delicious. The pricing was in line with local non touristy places which was nice because most restaurants were expensive in Rome. I would definitely recommend it and would go back next time we are in Rome. circa una settimana fa mi trovavo a roma per un convegno in un noto albergo,la reception ci consiglia questo ristorante per la pausa pranzo. Arriviamo in 6 persone,ci sediamo e aspettiamo che ci venga portato il menu,da quel momento sono passati più di 40 minuti per l'ordinazione,la cameriera sembrava una gallina senza testa che girava per il locale senza una meta e un organizzazione precisa.Ad aggiungersi i tavoli minuscoli,il locale soffocato da decine di accessori che appesantiscono l'atmosfera,bottiglie di vino ovunque,una confusione assurda. ordiniamo i primi del giorgio tra cui una gricia con broccoletti,non male anche se il guanciale era poco cotto e quindi quasi fastidioso da mangiare.unica nota positiva la bottiglia di sirah. prima di fare questa recensione ho riletto le risposte del direttore e ammetto sinceramente che finche si tratta di recensioni positive è facile vantarsi del proprio lavoro,ma,nel momento in cui si presentano quele negative bisgonerebbe usare un po di autocritica perchè i clienti vanno rispettati e in alcuni casi tale rispetto a mio avviso è venuto a mancare. Caro direttore,sincermaente ci siamo trovati male,rispetto i suoi clienti che elogiano il suo locale ma,sinceramente dalla mia esperienza non posso contracambiare,perchè a fine pranzo si è presentato a sparecchiare un cuoco sulla cinquantina,con una divisa sporca e non adatta a presentarsi in pubblico,quindi faccia alcuni accorgimenti per impedire che un altro forestiero si trovi male come ci siamo trovati noi.
