Very Tasty Pastries, Breads, Cookies and More. The smell of the Pastries was all over the neighbourhood and couldn't help it! The Forno is relatively small and cozy but has a lot to offer. Starting from fresh breads to Pastries to crossaints to Cookies and sweets. Everything looked great and yummy. The staff were friendly and the customer service was great which made me more comfortable in taking the time to see whats available and what to order. I passed by to check the source of the great smell and ended up getting breads and sweets.

Quest’anno Forno Marchetti ha festeggiato 70 anni di attività, e c’è davvero un motivo se è così amato da generazioni di romani. Entrare qui significa immergersi in una tradizione fatta di profumi autentici e sapori genuini. La loro pizza scrocchiarella è leggendaria: sottile, croccante, condita alla perfezione. Ma sarebbe riduttivo fermarsi solo alla pizza: ogni prodotto, dai dolci della tradizione alle focacce farcite, racconta una storia di qualità e passione. This shop offers a wonderful variety of foods including tasty pizzas, cookies, and croissants. What really makes the place special is the friendly staff and excellent customer service. Our trip to Rome was made even better thanks to the good food and the welcoming atmosphere at this shop.

Forno storico nel cuore di Monteverde, il Forno Marchetti è una vera istituzione del quartiere, e capisci subito il motivo appena entri.

Sono passato un sabato poco prima della chiusura e… il banco del pane era praticamente vuoto: segno inequivocabile che qui la bontà va a ruba! Quel poco che restava parlava da sé, ma a colpirmi è stata anche la gentilezza e accoglienza dei proprietari, che ti fanno sentire come a casa, con il sorriso di chi ama davvero il proprio lavoro.

Il fiore all’occhiello? La scrocchiarella finissima, semplicemente leggendaria. Che sia rossa al pomodoro o bianca, è croccante, leggera e saporita: una di quelle cose che ti fanno venire voglia di tornare ogni giorno.

Un luogo autentico, dove tradizione, qualità e umanità si incontrano....
