Il Ristoro — Restaurant in Rome

Research cetainly pays off and we dined here based on local reviews/feedback and we were not disappointed. Amazing "homestyle" rustic italian food. My italian vocabulary is very limited and the absence of an english menu had me rely on google translate to determine some ingredients but the restaurant staff's limited english was enough to get us by and we even managed to order vegetarian for my husband with success. The vino was good and very reasonably priced. My theory is if it's good enough for the locals, it should be even better for tourists. 10/10 from me. We loved it so much...

For a really nice atmosphere and great food highly recommended for lunch or dinner. There is jazz softly playing, a great selection of wines as well as superb Italian cuisine. You have the option of choosing what is displayed on the counter or ordering from the menu. I suspect that the owner will have specials of the day that are not on the menu which he might suggest. You can take your coffee outside on the old sofa, you can eat outside or in the restaurant which is nicely decorated. I loved it and...

Ich und meine Ehefrau waren elf Tage im Aroma Lifestyle Hotel in Rom, und haben das Restaurant spontan gefunden.

Was wir gefunden haben? Ein Restaurant unserer Vorstellung :D Das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Eine Gitarre an der Wand, eine Wunderschöne Terrasse zum sitzen an einer lebendigen Straße. Genauso stelle ich mir ein wunderschönen Restaurant Besuch in Italien vor.

Das Il Ristoro existiert seit 1965 und das schmecke ich und meine Frau in jedem Bissen. Wir waren viermal zu Besuch und haben fast alles ausprobiert. (Antipasti, Bruschetta, Pasta,Scalopine, Pizza, Desserts). Wir sind wirklich sehr begeistert, vom Geschmack und der Leichtigkeit der Speisen. Keine Servizio für charmanten liebevollen Gastfreundlichen Service ( Wir fühlten uns wie bei einem guten Freund Zuhause) Für uns ist es das beste Essen in Italien gewesen. Wir hatten eine Menge an Restaurants, Cafés in Rom ausprobiert. Doch zum Il Ristoro bin ich am allerliebsten zurückgekehrt weil wir uns jedesmal perfekt gesättigt und wohl gefühlt haben. Jeder Abend bei euch war wie Balsam für unsere Seelen. Ihr könnt Stolz auf eure Leistung sein
