MaMi — Restaurant in Rome

We are from America and the gentleman did not speak English well - and we speak a very little Italian (please, thank you, bathroom, etc) but he was so kind to pull out his phone and we used google translate back and forth - we giggled and he laughed. We were a party of 5 foreigners and he was so very nice and delightful. Important things - atmosphere was a small quaint intimate setting. Food - we had the charcuterie board, tempura veggies for appetizers which were both mouth watering! For main courses we split the steak, rigatoni pasta, and salmon ABSOLUTELY delicious! The passion fruit spritz and Hugo spritz were indulgent! We loved everything about this impressive little restaurant! This is our 5th day in Italy and this was by far our most favorite...

Wonderful little local restaurant in the suburbs of Rome. We visited last year (sorry for the late review!) and were staying nearby and tried it on a whim. Best decision ever! The owner/host was amazing, taking the time to talk to us about the dishes and wine. The food was incredibly good. I had the Ox cheeks and it was delicious. Although the restaurant itself is quite small , I noticed a great diversity amongst the patrons, from couples to families with kids, young and old. Would definitely come back next time...

Il Mami è senza dubbio il locale più elegante, chic e particolare del quartiere Aurelio zona villa Carpegna.

Un vero bistrot francese, incorniciato nell'incanto di lampadari scintillanti, luci, oggetti di design e arredamento deco' e retro'.

Una vera boutique del gusto che ricorda le maisons e lo charme di Parigi, con il suo arredamento "so chic", elegante, sofisticato, ricercato e luminoso.

Le pietanze sono molto particolari: direi speciali. L'utilizzo di ingredienti rari e gli abbinamenti proposti dallo chef rendono tutto davvero delizioso.

Ci sono antipasti, primi,secondi tutti all'insegna del gourmet. Davvero ottimi i taglieri per gli aperitivi con bruschettine, piattini misti e altro.

Buonissimi i vini, i cocktail e gli amari. Sono tutti selezionati con ottimo gusto e conoscenza.

Buonissimi sono i piatti in menù che hanno come ingredienti delle primizie o delle peculiarità rare come formaggi o primi e secondi fatti con prodotti tipici di alcune regioni.

Consiglio anche i panini burger multicolore! Sono fatti con pane colorato naturalmente con tinture di verdure e super croccante e soffice. Davvero originali.

I dolci sono eccezionali. Cambiano sempre e sono molto rivisitati / di nuova creazione.

Lo staff molto cortese, preparato e disponibile.

Se cercate un'esperienza nel tempio del gusto, del gourmet da veri intenditori contornato da una atmosfera romantica da bistrot francese , questo è senza dubbio il posto giusto, sia per una cena romantica, sia per una serata tra amici all'insegna della...
