We made a reservation thanks to a true Roman friend’s suggestion, and we were expecting a bit more of the true Roman taste and dining experience. The recipe of 'spaghetti cacio e pepe' was modified to be for tourists (?), the 'carciofi alla romana' were poor in their typical and delicate flavour, and the fried 'fiore di zucca' was actually soaked with oil. We finished our dinner experience with a dry 'tiramisù', which is actually a real shame, and with 'cantucci al cioccolato' which were very far from what real cantucci are. Even though the restaurant had closed, the staff stayed and called several taxis but with no success. The staff/owner then says "no problem" and graciously offered to drive us back to our hotel. We arrived home shortly, ending the day after a great meal, concert, and experience. Thanks...
