My new favourite place in Rome, and I’m fortunate enough to be staying just 2 min away. Everything I love about Italy, that can be hard to find in the bustle and tourism of the centre.
Every single staff member was exceptionally nice, and accomodating of my very bad Italian (although they also have English speakers but my Italian will never improve if I just speak English). In particular the gentleman who I assume Is the owner has Italian kindness and hospitality running through his veins, so warm and welcoming.
And the pizza is fabulous!! I had by the slice, very traditional Roman and very good. Sitting outside is lovely, and all the tables full of Italians, no tourists in sight.
A true gem of good food and amazing people and I will be returning!!...
Read moreLast 10th of April I went to the restaurant to book the dinner for that night, but the person who was at the place was very rude refusing to speak english. I've tried to explain that we were Portuguese and we do not speak Italian, but it was worthless. Looking for the other coments I believe that this was a one-off situation, however it was quite disappointing. The ambient and decoration of the restaurant was very nice and the price is good comparing with the surrounding restaurants. Hope that you all have better...
