The spinach and ricotta ravioli was absolutely fantastic just with tomato sauce. We came back here twice it was so good. Kids just loved it. Many vegetarian options here. Just for us some of the sauces were a little too salty, so just ask to lessen it. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Speaks English quite well. At the time there was tomato (pomodoro), carbonara, zucchini and lemon, and cacio with pepper (a Roman styled sauce?). Small place to sit inside and a small outside area across the road. Highly recommended if your in the area, quiet and out of the busy Vatican area.

Their fresh pasta is so good that it's better than any Roman restaurants we went to in Rome. The pasta js cooked "el dente" and just the way we like it. When in Rome or anywhere in Italy, it's best to find fresh pasta place like this where you can dine in or buy the fresh uncooked pasta to cook at your ABnB. Majority of the restaurants in Italy use packaged pasta and it's just not the same like this pasteria. Love this place ❤️

Consider it is a small place inside so prepare to takeaway, wait, and don't bring a big group.

Pasteria is a hidden gem right next to the Vatican! The service was impeccable, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and more than happy to recommend dishes tailored to our tastes.

The food was exceptional, featuring authentic Italian flavors. The Carbonara pasta and fresh antipasti were some of the best we’ve ever had, and the desserts perfectly rounded off our meal.

As someone who grew up in an Italian household i have very high standards when it comes to pasta. So far my experience in Italy has been awful in terms of the food. It’s all tasted bland, or too salty. However all 5 of our pastas today were AMAZING. This was our favorite kind (home made noodles)which you can’t find anywhere these days. Each dish had a unique flavor and were so tasty. I loved my lemon pasta. My family also loved their pesto, clams dish, and olive dishes. I will miss this place when we travel back home.

I will forever recommend this place when i hear others are visiting Rome. Do not skip this place if you would like authentic...
