Hands down the best gelato Iā€™ve had by far!!! (And Iā€™ve had way more gelato than one should!!) it was so soft and creamy yet also light. I donā€™t know how they do it!

Both my husband and I got 2 flavours, both different from each others. The highlight flavour for me was the hazelnut. It was just perfect and had crunchy bits.

They also have lactose and gluten free gelato. As well as gluten free cones!

I donā€™t normally get my gelato in a cone but I opted for the cone this time and I was not disappointed.

When ordering a cone you have the option of chocolate or pistachio sauce at the bottom, the two flavours of gelato and then either normal cream or chocolate cream.

Customer service was excellent and very reasonably priced.

They also have a selection of cakes and...

I walked in and could immediately tell the gelato was going to be as authentic as it gets. Everyone in the shop was speaking Italian and the flavors looked vibrant - so I was excited. It's maybe a 10ish minute walk from Vatican City, but trust me, it's worth it.

For ā‚¬4, I was able to get three flavors - but they went beyond this. I had a choice between milk or match melted chocolate to first be poured in the bottom of my cone which created an immensely rich and sweet treat once I'd finished eating the gelato itself, and complete with a topping of whipped cream which could also be pistachio flavored... all for ā‚¬4!

Long story short, if you want delicious and authentic gelato, it's worth the walk hands down. Not to mention the portions...

The flavors are incredible - natural, rich, and creamy. My absolute favorites were fragola, classic stracciatella, pistachio stracciatella, and passion fruit - each scoop was pure joy.

You can choose a cone with chocolate or pistachio filling inside and fluffy cream on top, or go for a cup - also topped with their delicious cream.

One big plus is that the place isnā€™t overcrowded with tourists ā€“ mostly locals come here, which gives it a more relaxed and authentic vibe. Friendly staff and everything super fresh.
