I was really excited to try this place because of the rave reviews. Coming from Toronto where the vegan food has set a considerably high bar, I had high expectations. While the food was decent, I can't say it was the "best vegan burger I've ever had" which is what I've seen in some of the other reviews.
Some plus points were an ambient space to eat with really nice pro-vegan messages on the wall. The burger buns were also well made and pleasing to eat.
My issue was that as a tourist, I genuinely felt unwelcome. The store owner made it extremely confusing to order as he tried to get me and my friends to order full meals, and it took way too long to order as a result. Additionally, I noticed that the owner went to other people's tables and asked how their food was... except for my table. I'm not sure if it was because I was a tourist or the colour of my skin... which in any case is disappointing. I am an avid vegan foodie from Toronto and Flower Burger Roma has been a disappointing experience. Save your €€ and hit up another...

Unfortunately when we went they had ran out of Tofu ( 😕) which was a shame as it's what we both wanted to try in their burger. In the end we both chose different burgers. 🍔 Burger on the right was:
Cheesy Cecil.... Charcoal black bread, chickpea burger, salad, tomato, herb flower cheese and tartarella sauce 🍔 Burger on the left was:
Burger Tofungo..... 7-grain bread, smoked tofu burger (Seitan Burger instead as no Tofu in stock) , tomato, mushrooms, salad and spinach and fungal sauce.
Overall very nice burgers. The buns themselves were amazing textures. I would go back but I wouldn't class it as one of the best burgers I have ever had and wouldn't go out out way to buy one. An amazing alternative though for Vegetarians and Vegans, also it is nice to know their are restaurants which do slightly different food to the normal Italian...

Also, in the holy kingdom of burger, God is in the condiments, so mayo, mustard and ketchup (at least) should be there for people who prefer them, if the taste is bland to begin with. Overall, they are good and unique, but could be better. We tried three of them (Cheesy Cecio, Flower Burger and Pepper Seitan) and Pepper was the one with the fullest taste...
