We were starving after a day touring The Colosseum and we wanted something fulfilling. We searched on Google and many restaurants near us were closed until dinner expect for Pizza Luigi. We quickly started walking towards it. There is plenty of outdoor sitting, probably takes up half the street. We walk in and we’re quickly greeted by the staff. They are some of the nicest people we’ve met in Italy. Most have been very direct but not here. They have some English speaking workers who were able to recommend some options for us. We absolutely loved the fungi & sausage pizza. It was amazing and full of flavor!! Big shout out to Rodolfo who went above and beyond for us to make us feel welcome. He was so helpful and very friendly! The prices are fair for the qualify of food and level of customer service. We came here twice on our short 4 day Rome stay. We highly...

The harmony of the ingredients is divine. And the prices are more than reasonable as well. 13 € for pizzas of this quality serving a family of 4, with plenty to spare is the definition of a bargain. Only con is their crochettas. They're not bad as such, just a bit plain, but draws the full experience a bit down. I'm not gonna let that affect my final grade though. And be aware that the line at the counter can be rather long. Remember to...
Read moreA bit of a hidden gem in Rome, recommended to me by a local, and thankfully it turned out to be a great choice.
The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is that it’s not your ordinary pizzeria. The staff speaks very little English, so communication might be a bit challenging, but there’s one person who helps guide you through the ordering process. Even the guys cutting and preparing the pizza are incredibly friendly and accommodating, even if you make a mistake with your order and need to change it.
In the end, for four slices of pizza, I was supposed to pay €5.50, but the staff insisted I pay only €5.
It’s a fantastic spot, worth a visit to experience great pizza and...
