Unreal atmospheric place with original Italian cuisine. The best pizza in Rome, the staff is very polite and with Italian charm. The visitors are all local Italians, there were no tourists to be seen at all. The restaurant is large, for about 200 people and everyone sits in the courtyard. The prices are extremely democratic. After leaving unpleasant moments while visiting architectural monuments, this place healed my soul. This place is easy to get to, it's a 5 minute walk from Garbatella metro station. They serve delicious Roman-style (very thin) pizza and the prices are very reasonable - €2.50 for tomato bruschetta and €8 for the pizza. Beer is served by the bottle and there is a menu of about 8 different types (mainly Moretti). This place has been here forever and it is always packed. I was not particularly impressed with battered fried zucchini flowers, empty and unsalted, and with the extremely small supplì. I did not have pizza, but they are famous for it, so I may have missed the whole point of it... Decent white wine and the usual espresso and liqueurs, nothing to complain.
