Riso Sushi&Cocktail — Restaurant in Rome

Decent all you can eat sushi but nothing to write home about.

I came here after not eating almost all day and tried a lot of items.

Overall, the quality varied. The salmon was phenomenal, the tuna and the white fish (whatever it was), were awful. Best part of the meal was the grilled prawn. The rice was horrible (I came in the evening, maybe it's fresh for lunch?) I strongly suggest sticking to sashimi type dishes.

Very attentive service and the food comes out fast. They forgot one of the dishes I ordered but I was too full to eat it anyhow, so it worked out. Relatively small fish selection - no fish eggs, no eel. Large fried and stir fry selection, but that's not really what I look for in this kind of restaurant. Disappointing.

At the end - if I was to go for the all you can eat sushi option again, I'd try one of the many others in Rome instead of...

Vengo qui da anni, era tra i migliori fino a un anno fa circa. Poi è andato a peggiorare, siamo voluti tornare più volte per poi metterci davvero una croce sopra.

Prima criticità: dentro si sente freddo spesso se si va la sera per cena. L'ambiente è bello, spazioso e capisco che il locale essendo grande non è facile da gestire per la temperatura, ma non è possibile sentire freddo mentre si mangia.

La seconda è il cibo. Sa tutto più o meno della stessa cosa. Un punto di forza del locale erano i diversi tipi di sushi anche strani e fuori dalla media che venivano proposti. Ora il menù è dimezzato e spesso si trova all'interno degli huramaki la patata dolce americana anziché il pesce. Inoltre la qualità del sashimi, almeno di salmone, è peggiorata. Viene servito gelido, quasi apposta per non sentirne il sapore ed è insipido infatti. Aspetto più triste di tutte è che ordini e ti arriva un piatto che è tutt'altro rispetto alla foto di presentazione... Mi spiego mettendo le foto di quello che avevo ordinato e quello che in realtà è stato preparato. Chiaramente c'è attenzione a mettere meno ingredienti per risparmio.. ma ci si sente sinceramente presi in giro visto che non si paga nemmeno poco per essere un all you can eat a cena. Ma anche la frittura, degli antipasti caldi come gli involtini primavera e thai... si sentiva davvero tanto, troppo il sapore dell'olio, come se lo avessero riutilizzato più e più volte. E per alcuni piatti abbiamo dovuto sollecitare la cucina più volte perché li portassero, cosa mai avvenuta.

È davvero tristissimo aver speso quasi 100€ per una cena del genere.

All you can eat €25pp. Last minute choice of where/what to eat before cinema in Trastevere. In 4 we ate all of 20 dishes chosen with no surplus not eaten extra. All dishes were delicious and fresh. See a few comment that it is not the best Sushi they have eaten but they also did not have a €60/90 bill at the end of the meal. Highly recommend, lovely ambient, quick attentive staff, and hope to return soon. Well done in the midst of late opening traditional Roman foods (not to be undermined at Trastevere) but certainly a lighter food to eat before a dark...
