Local bakery, good cappuccino, reasonably priced, friendly service, clean restaurant. Good place to have breakfast.

Very good local bakery. Constantly packed. Good coffee. The counter people were very pleasant. The cashier lady didn't speak to me the first day, which is understandable considering how busy it gets there. On the second day, she'd recognized me and while giving me my change, stopped...gave me a warm smile and told me to enjoy my journey :)

The point is, she didn't have to do it, but she took the time, and made my day:)! I'd read some of the comments about her which is not true. I find in Italy, you have to give the people some time before they open up to show how really sweet they are.

Remember, you are in a different country, a different culture. Be kind, patient and respectful, and it will come back to you ten folds.

TURISTSCAM!! WARNING!!!

Make sure that you see your bill first before eating your cake and drink. The owner Tried to scam us. He wanted 8 euro just for us to sit down. But if We stand in the counter is was free. He give you a bill where you can NOT see each thing you pay for. He pretend he do not understand english well but trust me he does. First he tried to bill me for 18 euros for two small capoucino and 6 very small minicakes. I wanted the bill before we had Our cakes and cappicino. Because I know about turistscam in Rom. He bill me 18 euro and I ended up paying only 10 euro. Only because I confroted him. I wanted to know what each thing cost. We ended up eating at the counter because I refused to pay 8 euros...

One of the must-visit pastry shops in Rome! While it’s usually busy, I visited in the morning when there were only a few customers.

I enjoyed a delicious sweet breakfast, trying the “BARBERINI,” “NAPPA,” and “LIBERA.” The Barberini (the classic one) stood out, but the others were also delightful. There were many other pastries I sampled, and honestly, everything was delectable.

Although it’s a bit off the beaten path from other tourist spots, it’s definitely worth the trip. I stopped by after visiting the Knights of Malta Keyhole and was thoroughly impressed.

*I should mention that the prices were...

Lovely pastry shop surprise! Was looking for Gelato and came across this right opposite my hotel. Beautiful pastries, lovely flavors and great coffee. Ordered a barberini. Espresso and shakerato. Good stuff but sadly they tried to overcharge me. They said barberini was EUR 10 (changed later to 8) and the shakerato was EUR 5 instead of only 2.90 (big size it seems, though size was never asked). Apart from this pricing issue, place to sit and enjoy. Really friendly service and good music. Plan to visit again.

Personale gentilissimo e preparato. Tornerò sicuramente!
