keyhole on aventine hill — Attraction in Rome

We went on a quiet Thursday morning, and the line wasn't too bad, maybe 15 minutes. I actually waited in line twice. The funny thing is, I got the shot with my phone, but I couldn't get it with my $5,000 camera. Oh well, it was worth it to try. But here's an insider tip: as you walk back towards the Circus Maximus, there's a lovely city park behind a wall. You'll know it by the orange trees (see screenshot). We went on a Thursday. The surrounding area is totally worth it, 2 great viewpoints to the city of Rome, competing the beauty of the top of SaintAngelo Castle! The keyhole itself was controversial - while I (who stood in line) thought it was pretty and cool, I do not think it was worth the line. My wife thought it was amazing. When we arrived, there was a line of people waiting their turn to have a look through the keyhole. We waited about 15 minutes until it was our turn, and boy, we weren't disappointed.
