Terrible Experience at T-Bone Station in Rome - Save Your Money and Avoid!
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at T-Bone Station in Rome, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. From the lackluster food to the abysmal customer service, this restaurant is one to be avoided at all costs.
Let me start with the food itself. I ordered the chicken burger, hoping for a satisfying meal, but what I received was a dry, flavorless disaster. There was no sauce or any form of moisture to salvage the dish, leaving me with a tasteless patty between two buns. I wouldn't wish this burger on my worst enemy and rate it a pitiful 1/10.
Next up were the chicken v-wings and chicken strips. I have no idea how a kitchen managed to overcook and overheat them, but it seemed like they had gone through a microwave marathon. The texture was rubbery, and the taste was far from enjoyable. My generosity grants them a 4/10, but it's still not worth the money.
I dared to try their Grilled Chicken breast, and it was nothing short of a culinary tragedy. The chicken was so dry it could rival desert sand, and they didn't bother to provide any sauce or condiments to salvage the dish. A sad 3/10.
The Mixed Salad was a joke. In what world does a "mixed" salad consist only of lettuce and tomato? It was like they threw together some leftover greens without any thought or effort. I'd rate it 3/40 if I could, but I'll settle for 3/10 for appearances' sake.
Now, let's talk about the price. Charging a whopping 71.5 euros for this dismal excuse for a meal is an insult to all of us who walked through their doors with the hope of a satisfying dining experience. You'd think for that price, they could at least afford a friendly smile and some basic customer service.
Ah, the customer service, or rather the lack thereof. From the moment we stepped in, we were met with indifference. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and it was evident that they couldn't care less about our dining experience. When we pointed out the lack of AC, instead of acknowledging the issue, they brushed it off with an unenthusiastic "Ok." It's like they didn't care whether we stayed or left.
In conclusion, I urge you to steer clear of T-Bone Station in Rome. The food is subpar at best, the prices are exorbitant, and the customer service is appalling. Save yourself the disappointment and money and choose a different restaurant in the area that values its customers and serves edible food. You deserve better than this, and T-Bone Station doesn't deserve...
Read moreWhere do I even begin? Dining at T-bone station was an absolute catastrophe from start to finish. I came here with high hopes for a perfectly cooked steak, only to leave utterly horrified by the experience.
To start, my steak arrived RAW. Not rare, not undercooked—RAW. A cold, red slab of meat that might as well have come straight out of the fridge. Thinking it was a one-off mistake, I politely sent it back to the kitchen, expecting the issue to be resolved.
When it returned, I was stunned. It was still raw. Perhaps they waved it over a candle for a few seconds or hoped their sheer audacity would convince me to eat it. At this point, it was clear the kitchen staff either had no clue what they were doing or simply didn’t care.
To add insult to injury, the service was unapologetic and uninterested. There was no attempt to make amends, no acknowledgment of the absurdity of serving the same raw steak twice. The manager was nowhere to be found, and the waitstaff avoided eye contact like they were dodging bullets.
I left without finishing my meal because, frankly, the thought of eating anything else from this place was nauseating. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy paying premium prices for inedible food and atrocious service. Never again. Not impressed, pretty low shot for a so called “stake house..” I hope out of this review, you can learn how to provide bare minimum customer service, and how to...
Read moreI was craving for steak and this was the only restaurant opened early, so I went for it. The restaurant was roomy, suitable for big group with comfy booth seatings. However, I was really disappointed at the food here. -Chicken Caesar Salad 6/10 - big chunk of dry and salty chicken -Wings 7/10 - salty Brown rice bowl with salmon and veggies 8/10 - salmon was overcooked. It was very dry that I couldn’t swallow both of the Ribeye and T-bone were impossible to eat - very rubbery and tasteless. It was supposed to come with side dish per our server. I chose French fries but it never came with my steaks. When I was able to flag down another staff to ask about it, she insisted it didn’t come with side dishes and we had to pay extra….
Speaking of service, they weren’t really busy but it’s so hard to flag down our server when we needed something. They also forgot one of our orders ….and brought out when we already finished eating. It was such a miserable dining experience here. I’d...
